With several NXT names being called up to the main roster, it could be time for brand new NXT signings to debut.
From an entire stable that has recently been reported as free agents to a long tenured NJPW star that could be headed for NXT this year — there are some intriguing ideas as to who could debut in the near future.
Here are six new WWE NXT signings that might be coming soon.
6. The Rascalz
While there have been contract reports regarding other TNA Wrestling stars signing new contracts with the company, there could be a full departure in the works for The Rascalz.
According to PWInsider, all four members of The Rascalz: Zachary Wentz, Trey Miguel, Myron Reed and Dezmond Xavier are free and clear to appear in other promotions.
With history in NXT for Wentz & Xavier (with the latter formerly known as Wes Lee), there could be a future for the entire group back in WWE.
While it seems that there could be room for negotiation, the previously advertised X-Division match between Leon Slater and Myron Reed that was set for the debut episode of the new Thursday Night iMPACT! has stopped being advertised.

5. Powerhouse Hobbs
While Powerhouse Hobbs remains under contract with AEW for the time being, there have been some recent reports teasing a potential future move to WWE.
With Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer noting that WWE has long had interest in signing Powerhouse Hobbs when we became available, the conversation around the potential move has come back up again.
Since it remains speculated that Hobbs’ current AEW contract is up sometime in 2026, perhaps he will elect to make the jump to WWE in lieu of re-signing to AEW.
Given the established path to success for other arguably underutilized talent from AEW to shine in NXT such as Ethan Page and Ricky Saints, there could be an amazing reunion in NXT later this year.

4. David Finlay
Another professional wrestling star making recent contract news is longtime NJPW star, David Finlay.
While Finlay has been performing with NJPW since 2015, his tenure with the company could potentially be coming to a close in the near future.
With his real life father Fit Finlay still working as a WWE producer and brother Brogan competing in NXT under the ring name Uriah Connors, it seems that a swap to NXT could be more possible than ever.
Bringing his vast experience, Finlay could head up his own ferocious faction similarly to his work leading the Bullet Club group the War Dogs.

With several exciting names noted from a recent crop of WWE tryouts, there could be some intriguing new athletes coming to NXT.
Joining the Performance Center recruits from the NIL program, former Boise State Broncos Running Back, Cyrus Habibi-Likio.
While it could be likely that his eventual debut won’t come for quite some time, he is joining the NXT recruits along with a pair of other exciting names to look out for as well.
Meghan Walker, a 21-year-old Nebraska Track and Field star as well as Russian gymnast and pole dancer Jessica Bogdanov.

2. Private Party
A pair of TV ready characters that have remained on the AEW bench through the last year are Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen.
Going by the team name Private Party during their time in AEW, the former AEW World Tag Team Champions haven’t been seen since dropping the titles to the Hurt Syndicate back in January 2025.
Reportedly awaiting their contract expiration to be able to move forward in their careers, there has been reports that WWE is interesting in signing the duo.
Likely able to make a big impact in the rebuilding NXT tag team division, hopefully the charismatic duo wind up in WWE in the near future.

1. Anna Jay
In a case of another AEW star who has seemingly disappeared during their contract year is Anna Jay.
With reports that her contract with AEW is set to expire in Spring 2026, a move for the captivating star could be incoming in the first half of the year.
However AEW fans that may have been waiting to see another fan favorite could be poised to see a different benched star arrive in NXT ahead of Anna Jay.
Taking into account another potential big signing from AEW in Danhausen — with reports that he could be done sometime in February 2026, there could be some very fun moves coming ahead in 2026.
