WWE NXT New Years Evil is set for the first edition of NXT of 2026 on Tuesday, January 7 and is certain to host some big moments.
From brand new faces from international independent promotions to fan favorites in AEW looking to make a new start — there are some intriguing potential names that could make their debut on NXT soon.
Here are six potential debuts at WWE NXT New Years Evil.
6. Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen)

A pair of potential new signings that could be bringing their infectious spirit to NXT are Private Party.
After dropping the AEW World Tag Team Championship to the Hurt Syndicate, Private Party’s Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen disappeared from AEW action in January 2025.
While it seems as though the duo were poised to depart AEW, there still hasn’t been any sign of the fun loving duo — perhaps making for the perfect surprise debut at NXT New Years Evil.
Immediately looking to challenge the WWE NXT Tag Team Champions, perhaps the team that will finally be able to take the titles from DarkState are Kassidy & Quen.

5. Nathaniel Cranton

A potential new signing that could make his on-screen debut at WWE NXT New Years Evil is Nathaniel Cranton.
Formerly going by the ring name Nathan Angel during his indie work, the recent UK signing has already been making appearances in NXT.
Having already shown up at TV tapings for a dark match as well as continuing to be seen at house shows, Cranton has already been impressive.
Picking up his first victory in a singles bout in WWE against Dante Chen this month — it could be a very big year for Nathaniel Cranton in 2026.

4. The Iinspiration

While TNA Wrestling is on the verge of having a brand new show debut on AMC — it is possible the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions The Iinspiration (Jess McKay & Cassie Lee) have still yet to re-sign.
Bringing their entertaining antics back to WWE, the duo could quickly take over on NXT including being the innovators to bring back a previously retired championship.
Possibly leading to the return of the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship, the titles could also end up being defended across brands in the same way that the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles are.
Sending the captivating duo around the likes of WWE Raw, SmackDown and even AAA — their home could be NXT but the entertaining stars could make frequent appearances off the show.

3. Jha’Quan McNair

Among the latest round of WWE ID prospects, one that could be poised to make an immediate impact is Jha’Quan McNair.
A former NCAA Division 1 collegiate wrestler, his path to WWE actually wasn’t through the NIL program but rather was scouted from indie wrestling.
With Air McNair already impressing fans with his high flying style, it seems like only a matter of time before he joins the NXT roster.
However, another WWE ID star did recently make his debut at a taping for a future episode of NXT that has yet to air. NXT star Tavion Heights defeated Eli Knight in the latter’s WWE NXT TV debut.

2. Danhausen

He’s Very Nice and Very Evil — but could Danhausen finally make his WWE NXT debut at New Years Evil?
While it would be amazing to see Danhausen finally sprung from the AEW bench, recent reports suggest that the wait could be a bit longer.
With Fightful Select reporting that Danhausen’s contract will be up sometime in February 2026, it could be that Danhausen isn’t just ruled out of a New Years Evil debut — but a Royal Rumble entry as well.
While WWE fans are forced to wait a bit longer, it could be that by the time Danhausen does make his big debut — there is something very compelling awaiting him in WWE.

1. Kam Hendrix

While he’s certainly no stranger to WWE audiences, it could be that fans haven’t caught on to Anthony Luke’s new name yet — Kam Hendrix.
Definitely able to make a big debut at New Years Evil, it might make sense to see Hendrix eventually join the growing field of NXT mixed tag teams alongside his real life fiancée.
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Maxxine Dupri certainly would make for a solid partner to introduce Hendrix to the WWE audience.
With mixed tag team action already entertaining audiences on NXT, it might just be a matter of time before the duo end up on-screen together.
