Starting on Saturday, March 14, AAA Rey de Reyes will begin a three-week event of huge matches and title bouts.
With the Rey de Reyes four-way match and the AAA Mega Championship up for grabs, these shows will feature memorable moments over the next few weeks.
Outside of the contests scheduled, there might be some debuting stars appearing on the Rey de Reyes shows.
Here are six potential debuts at WWE AAA Rey de Reyes.
6. Rusev
On the March 9 episode of Monday Night Raw, Oba Femi defeated Rusev in quick fashion.
“The Bulgarian Brute” has been looking to regain momentum after a series of losses and an extended absence from WWE TV.
While he might not have a consistent role on WWE programming, Rusev could find his way to Lucha Libre AAA.
Rusev debuting at AAA Rey de Reyes would be interesting and offer him the chance to get in the mix for the Mega Title almost immediately.

5. The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed)
The Creed Brothers haven’t been seen on WWE television much over the past year.
Once viewed as the future of tag team wrestling, Julius and Brutus Creed have only appeared once in 2026 so far.
The AAA tag team scene has been dominated by Pagano and Psycho Clown over the past few months.
Wanting to win their first tag team titles in the past four years, The Creeds could make their Lucha Libre AAA debut at Rey de Reyes and get into title contention upon arriving in the company.

4. Candice LeRae
Over the past few weeks, fans have seen Candice LeRae dealing with her depressed husband in Johnny Gargano.
The last time fans saw LeRae in action, she picked up a loss against Jordynne Grace on the February 27 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
Meanwhile, the AAA Rey de Reyes Championship picture might be extremely intriguing if Candice LeRae enters the scene.
LeRae debuting in Lucha Libre AAA at Rey de Reyes could put the spotlight directly on her and make her a formidable challenger for Lady Flammer in the near future.

3. Johnny Gargano
Speaking of Candice LeRae, Johnny Gargano has been in an absolute depressed state after losing to Axiom on the January 30 episode of WWE SmackDown.
To go along with his loss to Axiom, Gargano lost his longtime tag team partner in Tommaso Ciampa, who went on to leave WWE and sign with All Elite Wrestling.
While he has had a lengthy losing streak in WWE, Gargano could regain some momentum by heading to Lucha Libre AAA, making his debut at the Rey de Reyes event on March 14.
Fitting the style and being able to work with any luchador on the roster, Gargano could make an immediate impact in AAA after debuting in the Mexican promotion.

2. Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins)
The last time Street Profits made an appearance on WWE SmackDown was back in September 2025.
While Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins have competed on WWE Main Event, they have not been seen on the company’s programming in a significant manner.
After recently making a return on WWE NXT live events, it should lead to Ford and Dawkins making a proper return to one of the brands in the company.
Moving the former multi-time WWE Tag Team Champions to Mexico, Street Profits have everything it takes to be AAA Tag Team Champions and take the promotion by storm after potentially debuting at Rey de Reyes.

1. Shinsuke Nakamura
Shinsuke Nakamura is one of the most decorated and biggest Japanese stars in pro wrestling history.
While Nakamura has already put on a showstealing bout against AJ Styles before his retirement at WWE Royal Rumble 2026, he has not been a consistent character seen on the company’s television.
Lately, fans have seen Nakamura become a rival to Tama Tonga and The MFTs on Friday Night SmackDown.
However, it might better use for Nakamura to make his debut in Lucha Libre AAA at the upcoming Rey de Reyes event where he might be a bigger star in the Mexican promotion than he currently is in WWE.
