WrestleMania is an event that usually has ripple effects on the entire landscape of WWE for the rest of the year.
This year’s WrestleMania 42 has already announced a few matches that will alter how WWE Raw looks moving forward.
From new champions to returning stars, the changes to Monday nights should be seen as soon as the Raw After WrestleMania 42.
Here are six potential changes to WWE Raw following WrestleMania 42.
6. Liv Morgan Brings Gold Back To The Judgment Day

At WWE Royal Rumble 2026, Liv Morgan won the women’s Royal Rumble match and punched her ticket for WrestleMania 42.
After weeks of contemplating her decision, Morgan chose Stephanie Vaquer’s WWE Women’s World Championship to challenge for at ‘The Showcase of the Immortals.’
Liv winning the title could see The Judgment Day gaining prominence after a few months of dissension and issues within the faction.
Morgan becoming the new champion will bring gold and the spotlight back to the group, allowing them to once again believe they are taking over Monday Night Raw again.
5. Finn Balor Brings Back The Demon

Speaking of The Judgment Day, the faction recently made a huge statement when they turned on Finn Balor on the March 9 episode of WWE Raw.
After years of problems with Dominik Mysterio, Balor found himself excommunicated from The Judgment Day once and for all.
This should set the stage for a grudge match between Balor and Mysterio for the WrestleMania 42 premium live event.
At Mania or sometime after, fans should be greeted by Balor bringing back his ‘Demon’ persona to take down The Judgment Day and finally put an end to the group that has been a featured act on WWE Raw over the past four years.
4. Bron Breakker Breaks Free From The Vision

On the Raw After WrestleMania 41, Bron Breakker attacked Roman Reigns and joined forces with Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins to form The Vision.
Since then, Breakker has grown into a main event star on WWE Raw and took things to the next level when he led the way for The Vision to dispatch Rollins following his serious shoulder injury in October 2025.
While Breakker is currently out following hernia surgery, it looks like the second-generation star could be back in time for a showdown with Rollins at WrestleMania 42.
Following Mania, Breakker should break free from The Vision, realizing that he has outgrown the group and ready to stand on the mountaintop of WWE on his own.

3. Oba Femi Cements Himself As A Top Star

On the March 16 episode of Monday Night Raw, Oba Femi answered Brock Lesnar’s open challenge for WrestleMania 42.
After laying out Lesnar with the Fall From Grace and putting his foot on his chest, Femi exerted the same dominance that made his name on the WWE NXT brand.
‘The Ruler’ is now set for what should be the biggest match of his career at ‘The Grandest Stage of Them All.’
If he is able to defeat Lesnar at Mania, Femi could become one of the new top stars of WWE and cement himself among the upper echelon on Monday Night Raw moving forward.
2. Chris Jericho Makes His Return

Back in April 2025, Chris Jericho took some time off from AEW television following his loss of the ROH World Championship.
Now nearly a year later, Jericho has found himself in the headlines in recent months thanks to reports of his AEW contract being set to expire.
Considering the reports and rumors that WWE has interest in bringing him back for one final run, it feels inevitable that Jericho will make his return to his former home before long.
Jericho returning to WWE Raw should be a huge moment that would completely rock the entire company and kick off what should be a highly anticipated final run of his career.
1. Roman Reigns Brings Back The Bloodline As The World Heavyweight Champion

At WWE WrestleMania 42, Roman Reigns will challenge CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship.
In the leadup to Mania, Punk has made things personal in his rivalry with Reigns by saying he will bury ‘The OTC’ next to his late father.
This has caused The Usos to step in and demand an apology on behalf of their family and late uncle from Punk.
After gaining enemies from the entire Anoa’i family dynasty, Punk could spark the return of The Bloodline on WWE Raw if Reigns is able to take him down and become the new World Heavyweight Champion coming out of WrestleMania 42.
