WWE NXT has seen a lot of focus over the past few months, but the future of the brand is looking just as hot as ever.
With the upcoming move over to the CW Network and the brand a part of some big crossovers, the future of NXT is looking a lot different than several months ago.
Here are 6 changes that should be coming to WWE NXT in the coming months.
6) New Network
As previously mentioned, WWE NXT is set to leave the USA Network in October, with the show leaving cable television and airing on terrestrial television on the CW Network.
As the show heads towards its premiere on its new network, the premiere episode of the show is reportedly set to be presented as a big event.
In fact, it’s even supposed to be on par with a PLE.
The new network could lead to an entire change of focus as the show arrives on its new network, which we have already seen put into place recently.

5) Women’s Focus
The NXT Women’s division has often been credited for it’s depth and quality in comparison to it’s main roster counterpart.
The depth of the division became so much that a new Women’s North American Championship was recently introduced, with Kelani Jordan taking home the inaugural title.
With new stars being spotlighted, new rookies rising up from Level Up, and new major signings on their way in, the division is arguably even stronger than the men’s on NXT right now.
A focus on the highly praised division would be a smart switch up over the next few months.

4) Wrestler Excursions
The crossovers between WWE and other promotions has begun taking shape in recent months, with NXT talent appearing in other promotions.
WWE sending NXT stars to other promotions helps the talent grow faster as they work with more experienced talent outside the WWE system, so it’s absolutely something that NXT should keep up.
It was recently announced that NXT’s Tavion Heights and Josh Briggs would be a part of the Pro Wrestling NOAH N-1 Victory tournament, which is the exact type of crossover that can help both men grow.
Maybe NXT could take some younger guys from Japan and help give them a character on NXT Level Up, as is tradition for Japanese excursions to the States.

3) More WWE NXT Premium Live Events
In past year’s, WWE NXT has held major television specials every month, with only a limit number of actual premium live events a year.
However, it seems as though NXT is going to be out on the road a lot more over the coming months, as more events will now be presented as official PLEs.
WWE recently announced NXT No Mercy would be taking place in Denver, Colorado, while Halloween Havoc would take place in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
I expect more NXT PLEs will be out on the road for the remainder of 2024.

2) New Major Signings
Perhaps the biggest change coming to NXT in the coming weeks and months is an influx of major new talent.
Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia are two major international women’s stars set to be on their way to the brand, and they will immediately cause a major shakeup to the women’s division.
Add in the potential arrival of the Motor City Machine Guns which has been speculated recently, as well as other potential free agent signings, and the landscape of NXT is set to look a whole lot different.
Of course, it isn’t only appearances from free agents that can cause that shakeup to the landscape.

1) More TNA & WWE NXT Crossover
The relationship between WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling in recent months has already proven to be effective for both companies.
NXT gets access to some of TNA’s most popular wrestlers, such as Jordynne Grace and Joe Hendry, with them returning to TNA with some additional buzz coming off WWE television.
NXT’s Wes Lee and the No Quarter Catch Crew were in action on TNA Slammiversary this past weekend, while The Rascalz and Joe Hendry recently scored a victory on NXT television.
Heading into the Fall, expect even more TNA stars to make appearances on NXT.
