Yes. You are reading this right.
Somehow. Someway. Vince McMahon has returned to the Board of Directors to kick off the 2023 wrestling year.
If you want to keep up to date make sure to check this very website because all things seem to be possible here.
What could be happening in detail, is what we are going to look at right now.
So look no further than here to get a grasp of what could be in store for WWE with Vince McMahon back as an executive.
6. Sell The Company

This is what Vince McMahon himself put forward as the major reason why shareholders should support his return to the company.
He claims to be the only one to be able to sell the company for the right amount of money. This is because Vince (and Nick Khan) landed a massive deal with Peacock a couple of years ago.
McMahon is looking to sell the company he held onto for so many years to a global streaming service and also make sure that no television deal can be reached without his say.
5. Release Staff & Talent

Much like during the pandemic era, McMahon may be looking to release a mass amount of staff and talent to lean up the company for a potential sale.
A lot of former WWE superstars and staff members were hired back by Triple H after Vince left. For example, William Regal, who just returned from a short stint at AEW.
His vision often changes and many times does not match what would be considered as ‘common sense’.
Therefore it is impossible to tell how many heads would roll, but unfortunately, some probably will.
4. Return To Creative

This is the one that would be affecting us, the fans, the most.
Vince McMahon back in the creative chair. A position he tried to hold onto until the very end before he stepped down.
His creative decisions, especially in his final years, were often criticized and led to several record low tv ratings.
He’s said he doesn’t intend to do it, but, he’s Vince McMahon, so we probably shouldn’t hold our breath.
This move would also lead to…
3. Demoting Triple H

…Triple H being demoted. Again.
Despite what both have been saying on record, their creative visions for the product do not match.
During the absence of Vince McMahon ratings were up, talent was happy with their creative reactions and fans very much enjoy the week-to-week television product again.
Triple H would probably return to a minor role in the company, away from talent development (NXT) and creative.
Despite what the current press release says, he did it before so we can’t count on him not doing it again.
2. Launch Another New Way Of Talent Hiring

Speaking of talent development. After demoting Triple H for the first time, the company introduced the “Next In Line”.
Replacing the previous hiring process of William Regal and Triple H scanning the globe for the best independent talent.
Since Vince left the “NIL” process was loosened up, with several former stars and independent wrestlers being brought into the company.
Vince McMahon would probably put the entire focus of the hiring process back on getting former football players and bodybuilders.
1. Hire Back John Laurinaitis

If Vince McMahon comes back. Why can’t John Laurinaitis return?
He was McMahon’s righthand man and was released after the allegations become known to the public.
It would make sense for Vince to bring back his beloved ‘Yes Man’ as the final nail in the coffin for everyone that hoped things have finally changed.
