While WWE name changes fairly common when new stars join the company, there could also be some existing talent that are set for a refresh.
From a recent heel turn on the main roster that could activate a new moniker, to a potential new signee making his mark with a new name, there could be some fascinating potential WWE name changes.
Here are five WWE stars that could be changing names soon.
5. Natalya – Nattie Neidhart
While WWE fans are very aware of Natalya’s established character, they could be forgiven for missing out on some exceptional work over the past year outside of WWE.
Appearing in AAA and Bloodsport under a more serious moniker of ‘Nattie Neidhart’, the “Lowkey Legend”, as she is nicknamed, is an entirely different vibe from the perpetually positive Natalya.
With Nattie Neidhart bringing both the violence and the intensity, it might be that her name, ring gear and entrance from outside WWE will now debut inside the company.
Turning heel on Maxxine Dupri and leaving fans wondering about her motivations in the evil actions, perhaps WWE fans will hear from the “Lowkey Legend” soon enough about why she did what she did on WWE Raw.

4. Anthony Luke – Kam Hendrix
A name change that has already taken place is LFG star and Maxxine Dupri’s real life husband Anthony Luke getting a brand new NXT moniker.
Being renamed Kam Hendrix, he follows suit with another LFG competitor who swapped monikers in May, with Troy Yearwood also quietly being renamed Jamar Hampton.
Featuring in bouts on WWE Evolve, Hampton has been making an impact on the roster in both Evolve and in NXT live events.
Seemingly boasting a ton of potential moving forward in their careers, both Hendrix & Hampton seem to be going places.

3. Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee – Billie Kay & Peyton Royce
In a curious case of name changes, it will be interesting to see how “WWE names” are handled in the future, particularly in the setting of those who have made a name for themselves elsewhere.
While he returned for the Last Time Is Now Tournament as Zack Ryder, when he would later make his return on SmackDown — Matt Cardona kept his real name.
While the dynamic duo that was formerly known as The IIconics in WWE could certainly re-sign and resume their former in-ring monikers — Peyton Royce and Billie Kay — perhaps they would be interested in a fresh start.
Possibly selecting two brand new names, or continuing as Cassie Lee & Jess McKay, the familiar faces of the hilarious and talented duo will be certainly be recognized by the audience even if their names are not.

2. Uriah Connors – Brogan Finlay
In what is hopefully a name change via on-screen partnership with a real life family member, there could be another Finlay bound for WWE.
With WWE reported to be interested in Connors’ real life brother David Finlay from NJPW, perhaps we could see both brothers united under the WWE umbrella along with their father Fit Finlay.
With Connors able to return to his real name Brogan Finlay — or some approximation that includes the surname ‘Finlay’ — the duo could be immediately unstoppable.
Since the Finlay name has solid fan recognition for excellence in the industry — as exemplified by their Father Fit Finlay, it would be nice to see it brought back in WWE for a new generation of fans.

1. Powerhouse Hobbs – TBD
If recent reports prove true and Powerhouse Hobbs is on his way to WWE, it would seem that he may end up with a brand new name.
Since his actual name is Will Hobson, it is likely that there will be some variation, although if history proves accurate, Hobbs could end up choosing something meaningful on a personal level.
With an incredibly powerful backstory, there are certainly some names of significance that could end up becoming integrated in Hobbs’ new name in WWE.
Losing his brother to gun violence at a young age — whatever name Hobbs debuts with could have a powerful meaning.
