For the third consecutive year, AEW WrestleDream will take its spot one the company’s pay-per-view calendar, as it heads to St Louis, MO this Saturday, October 18.
Four title matches have already been announced for the show thus far, with the possibility of more being added on the go-home episode of Dynamite and Collision.
But could we see any championships change hands?
Here are five potential title changes at AEW WrestleDream 2025.
5. Hangman Page Drops AEW World Title to Samoa Joe

The show’s potential main event pits AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page against former champion Samoa Joe.
Given the heated build and the in-ring talent of both men, there’s little doubt that this bout will be a violent and intense banger.
However, could the title actually change hands?
Page is the company’s most popular babyface and is currently in the midst of what could be his signature run as world champion — a reign that’s drawing on PPV – so it seems unlikely that AEW would bring that to an end at WrestleDream.

4. Kazuchika Okada & Konosuke Takeshita Capture AEW World Tag Team Championships

At WrestleDream, recently crowned IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada will challenge Bandido and Brody King for the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
Takeshita and Okada are in the midst of a slowly building intra-factional rivalry, with both members of the Don Callis Family soon to begin feuding.
Given the building tension, it appears unlikely they’ll capture the titles at WrestleDream.
We’re more likely to see Bandido and King retain the belts — with Takeshita and Okada coming to blows during or after the match, setting up a clash between the two Japanese stars before the end of the year, but there is always a chance AEW could use a short tag team title run for the two Japanese stars to further the storyline their eventual rivalry.

3. Mercedes Moné Drops AEW TBS Title

One champion conspicuous by her absence from the WrestleDream card is Mercedes Moné — so could we still see a match added for the reigning TBS Champion on the go-home Dynamite?
The 33-year-old currently doesn’t have an active storyline, which raises the question of whether an outside challenger could emerge.
The most high-profile free agent available is Shayna Baszler — the dominant former two-time NXT Women’s Champion and ex-MMA fighter — who has openly expressed interest in joining AEW.
Still, if that match does come to pass, however, the likelihood of Moné losing the title she’s held for over 500 days always remains in doubt.

2. Mark Briscoe Dethrones Kyle Fletcher For AEW TNT Championship

At All Out, Mark Briscoe scored the most high-profile victory of his career, defeating MJF in a bloody Tables and Tacks bout.
At WrestleDream, he has the opportunity to capture his first singles title in AEW when he faces Kyle Fletcher in the fifth match of their celebrated rivalry — but is he likely to do so?
Fletcher is currently being pushed as a future star in the company, having appeared in the main event of All Out in a losing effort to Adam Page, so it seems unlikely AEW will book him to lose two pay-per-views in a row.
Even if sentimental favourite Briscoe doesn’t capture the title, one thing is certain — the match, like the four before it, is guaranteed to be an in-ring banger.

1. Toni Storm Regains AEW Women’s World Championship

Toni Storm remains the most over female star in AEW — arguably the most over star in the entire company.
After losing her AEW Women’s World Championship in the four-way match at All Out, she has the opportunity at WrestleDream to recapture it when she faces Kris Statlander in a singles bout.
The question is: will she regain the belt and become a record-setting five-time champion?
This one could go either way: while Statlander’s reign has been short, suggesting AEW may not want to end it so soon, Storm’s star power means a title change cannot be ruled out.
