On November 19, All Elite Wrestling once again goes Full Gear.
The event has become a November tradition for the company and has played host to many momentous occasions.
The debut of Jay Lethal, Hangman’s historic World Championship victory, or Darby Allin’s first title win in AEW, just to name a few.
Many surprises are in store when AEW calls for everyone to change gears and go all out. This year more than ever.
With AEW being faced with its toughest challenges yet as a company, what does Tony Khan have in store to reignite fans’ interest in the product?
5. Miro Returns

Where is Miro?
One of the most beloved and gifted characters on the AEW roster has not had a match since AEW All Out in September.
Miro has recently been spotted at Sheamus’ wedding. Meanwhile, his wife CJ Perry, the former Lana in WWE, has confirmed that Miro is currently not happy in AEW.
There is literally no reason to not feature Miro on TV. A storyteller, an explosive wrestler, and someone that has proven to click with the audience in the AEW environment.
Yet AEW has managed to not give Miro the spotlight he needs and deserves. AEW Full Gear can and should be the place to course-correct and unleash the redeemer onto the masses again.
4. The Dark Order Splits

Unfortunately for the Dark Order they are yet another victim of inefficient booking in today’s AEW.
The group formerly led by the late great Brodie Lee is falling apart one by one and is struggling to regain the spotlight it once had.
Jose The Assistant and Rush have been trying to recruit Ten for months now and it’s most likely that Ten decides to take the next step in his career.
Much like Anna Jay, there seems to be too much potential with Preston Vance to waste him in a group that barely features on TV, sadly.
It is unlikely Dark Order will ever be a big deal again and a heel turn in a segment at AEW Full Gear should put the Dark Order to rest for good.
3. Thunder Rosa Returns Earlier Than Expected

Yes, Thunder Rosa is still the official AEW Women’s World Champion.
She claims she doesn’t have a timeline for her return after her injury, however, maybe the reason for that is because she is already ready to go.
Toni Storm has been defending the interim title since Rosa left – and will be doing so again against Jamie Hayter at Full Gear – and it is time we finally see the title unification.
One thing is for sure: A Toni Storm vs Thunder Rosa staredown would be a banger moment for Full Gear.
2. Mike Tyson Gets Involved

Recently, ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson returned to the promotion, specifically the commentary booth, during a live edition of AEW Rampage.
The boxing legend clearly has a passion for the industry and might just have gotten the itch again.
AEW is in desperate need of a hot angle. Tyson claimed that Orange Cassidy is a favorite of his. Imagine the segments with Danhausen.
Or, Tyson gets involved with his old rival Chris Jericho again. We shall see.
1. Nigel McGuinness Debuts To Announce The ROH TV Deal

AEW and ROH fans have been desperately waiting for this announcement for a long long time now.
The presence of Ring of Honor stars and the ROH Championships does hurt the AEW product. It feels overloaded and title matches shine with quantity over quality.
The only way to solve this is a separate weekly show for Ring of Honor. What better way to have the recently released WWE commentator and former ROH World Champion Nigel McGuiness make the announcement?
Nigel is one of the nicest and most talented people in the industry. Welcoming him back into the ROH family at AEW Full Gear would put smiles on people’s faces.
