WWE Performance Center

Just this week during WWE’s Q1 earnings it was announced that the company is exploring additional performance center locations.

This is an incredible opportunity for the company to launch the careers of new fresh faces outside of the USA.

Right now WWE already has a PC based in Orlando, Florida as well as in London, England.

WWE has multiple options for new places to explore, here are the most logical ones.

5. New Delhi, India

In recent years India has become more and more of a big market for the entire wrestling industry.

Right now talent like Veer, Shanky, and Sanga are already hoping to be the next big thing in WWE.

WWE Hall of Famer The Great Khali himself does train talent in India. With the WWE machine behind him, the possibilities are endless.

4. Mexico City, Mexico

Right now the smaller lucha libre type wrestler does not seem to be something WWE is looking for.

However, placing a Performance Center in the heart of Mexico is going to help WWE to find what they have been looking for for a long time:

The next Hispanic megastar. Imagine a guy that has the look that appeals to Vince McMahon and has the skills of a luchador.

And now imagine multiple guys like that, all coming from “La Centro De Rendimento”.

3. Calgary, Canada

Calgary, Alberta, Canada has a rich history of training talent that would go on to become huge stars in WWE.

Besides the Hart Family, the likes of Edge, Jake Roberts, and Chris Jericho all trained at the famous dungeon.

To this day Canada produces incredible talent and WWE should find a way to capitalize on that better than they have in recent years.

Oh Canada, our home…to the next WWE Performance Center?

2. Tokyo, Japan

Japan is a machine when it comes to training and perfecting wrestlers’ in-ring skills from all over the world, not just in Japan.

It seems like the people of the New Japan Dojo have it all figured out. Obviously, WWE has a slightly different philosophy on what makes a star, though.

Therefore WWE should have some interest in building a Japanese Performance Center with their system to filter out the talent that would fit into their program better.

1. Munich, Germany

Of course, I ranked Germany No.1 because I am german, right? Well, it is not that easy, but hear me out.

Germany lies at the center of continental Europe. It is surrounded by other countries with highly talented performers like France, Hungary, Austria, Denmark, and Belgium.

In addition, WWE’s European office is located in Munich and it is the location of their year-long TV partner the ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG.

While NXT UK works closely with BT Sports in the United Kingdom, it would be smart to have a trusted broadcast partner close by.

A performance center in Munich would certainly be very efficient.
