The WWE Crown Jewel 2025 premium live event takes place in Perth, Australia on Saturday, October 11.
It is the first time in the seven-year history of the event that the show will be held outside Saudi Arabia.
The Australian special already has some blockbuster matches announced – the Men’s Crown Jewel Title Match with WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. World Champion Seth Rollins, a Women’s Crown Jewel Title Match with WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton vs. Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer, the Kabuki Warriors vs IYO SKY & Rhea Ripley, and John Cena vs AJ Styles.
Aside from the card itself, there is every chance WWE could use the show to announce new signings – here are five possibilities.
5. Joe Hendry

It has appeared, especially in recent weeks, that Joe Hendry is being phased out of TNA ahead of a full-time move to WWE.
TNA president Carlos Silva did little to deny this during a recent appearance, confirming that Hendry is still under contract with TNA right now – “he is until he’s not.”
It appears that the 38-year-old is about to sign a WWE contract and join the company full-time.
And this may happen sooner than 2026 – we could even see it announced at Crown Jewel in Perth.

4. The Hardy Boyz

The Hardy Boyz appear to be edging back to WWE.
On October 7, the TNA Tag Team Champions take on NXT Tag Team Champions DarkState in a title vs. title match on the NXT vs. TNA special.
It appears likely the legendary team will win, capturing their first WWE titles since 2019.
The Hardys remain supremely popular with WWE fans – as seen by the huge pop at SummerSlam – and with a final run seemingly on the horizon, it could be announced as soon as Crown Jewel.

3. Stars of NXT Europe

Earlier in the year it was announced that WWE intended to sign European standout independent stars Mike D Vecchio, Aigle Blanc and Zozoya.
The three finished up their runs on major independents over the summer and now appear to be waiting for the announcement of contract signings.
Their arrivals have been rumoured to tie into the long-speculated launch of NXT Europe.
Could Crown Jewel be the stage where WWE both confirms the signings and finally announces the beginning of NXT Europe?

2. Je’Von Evans

NXT star Je’Von Evans has appeared on SmackDown for the past two weeks, first challenging Sami Zayn for the US Title on September 26 and then teaming with Rey Fenix against Los Garza on October 3.
In both outings, the 21-year-old impressed, looking ready and polished for a spot on the WWE main roster.
Not only did he deliver in-ring, but his spectacular high-flying offence also got over with the crowd.
A main roster contract feels inevitable – and it could be made official as soon as Crown Jewel.

1. Oba Femi

On the subject of NXT stars signing main roster contracts, Oba Femi seems imminent.
At No Mercy, Femi lost the NXT Championship to Ricky Saints, ending his dominant nine-month reign.
Trained entirely from scratch by WWE, the 27-year-old is the archetype of what the company looks for in a top star: hugely impressive physique, natural charisma, and the ability to work as a powerhouse big man.
At WWE Crown Jewel in Perth, we could see the announcement of Femi’s main roster signing.
