WWEOn the July 7 edition of Raw, the Kabuki Warriors officially reunited, as Asuka hit the ring to defend Kairi Sane from a two-on-one beatdown by WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez.
The reunited duo will now compete in a four-way match for the tag titles at Evolution on July 13.
With the Kabuki Warriors back together, it raises the question – could other former WWE tag teams reunite soon?
Here are five partnerships we could see again in a WWE ring.
5. The Usos
Since losing the World Heavyweight Title to Gunther – and then failing to win King of the Ring – Jey Uso’s storyline direction seems unclear.
Similarly, Jimmy Uso, while recently teaming with Jacob Fatu, has lacked real direction since the Bloodline feud wrapped up at the end of 2024.
Putting the team back together appears to be the obvious way to give both brothers a renewed focus.
The Usos will clearly reunite at some point, but could we soon see the eight-time Tag Team Champions push for a ninth title run?

4. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have been an on-again, off-again tag team for over 20 years, first teaming together in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla back in 2004.
As a duo, they became the first tag team in 39 years to main event WrestleMania when they faced The Usos at WrestleMania 39 – only the second tag team main event in history, following Hulk Hogan and Mr T vs. Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff at the very first WrestleMania.
While their latest run ended last year, their WWE histories are so deeply intertwined there’s little doubt they’ll team again providing Owens retrurns from his neck issues – and little doubt Owens would eventually turn on Zayn again too!
With Owens currently out with said significant neck injury, the only question is if or when it can happen – but if/when he does return, what better way to reintroduce him than alongside his long-time partner?

3. The Bella Twins
On the July 7 edition of Raw, Nikki Bella was announced as the first entrant in the Battle Royal set to take place at Evolution.
The original plan for Bella on the all-women’s show potentially seemed to be a tag team reunion with sister Brie to face then-WWE Women’s Tag Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, but Morgan’s injury caused the direction to change.
Still, a Bellas reunion seems likely.
There remains a possibility that Brie could make a surprise appearance in the Battle Royal.

2. The Lucha Bros
Former AEW World Tag Team Champions the Lucha Bros have been on different brands since joining WWE earlier this year – with Penta on Raw and Rey Fenix on SmackDown.
While Penta is proving to be a big star, main-eventing against Seth Rollins on the July 7 edition of Raw, Rey Fenix hasn’t had the same level of push, with little storyline direction on the blue brand.
Considering they’re one of this generation’s best and most decorated tag teams, a reunion feels inevitable.
It could even happen as soon as one of the two nights of SummerSlam.

1. Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams
NXT star Trick Williams is having a standout year, capturing the TNA World Championship while working across both NXT and TNA.
He’s set to headline TNA Slammiversary on July 20 – defending the World Title against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana – and has improved markedly in-ring.
His former NXT partner Carmelo Hayes hasn’t found the same success since moving to the main roster, currently teaming with The Miz and appearing on SmackDown only sporadically.
Super charismatic and now main-roster-ready, Williams could give the equally talented Hayes a much-needed spotlight, so perhaps we could soon see the return of Trick Melo Gang in WWE.
