After Tony Khan made headlines by introducing the newest AEW title, the AEW National Championship — there could be even more titles coming.
From introducing more titles into the AEW women’s division to entirely new concepts, never say never when it comes to AEW adding another championship to their list of accomplishments up for grabs.
Here are five more new AEW Championships that Tony Khan could introduce soon.
5. Veteran Championship

One potential new AEW championship could be one that is meant to be targeted particularly by the veterans on the roster, with perhaps an arbitrary definition of those being in the industry for a set number of years are considered eligible.
With a fun detail that the longevity of their career could demarcate seniority, there could be room for surprise entrants to get title shots by surprise, given their industry veteran status.
While it would be odd to somehow create a title specifically for the youngest members of the roster, the same could also be done with solid impact.
Particularly with notable indie talent popping up in their late teens, there could certainly be a place for some kind of AEW Junior Heavyweight division as well.

4. Mixed Tag Team Championship

One new title that could be introduced via an annual tournament could be an AEW Mixed Tag Team Championship.
With several options for ferocious mixed tag teams in AEW, the company could certainly introduce a pair of championship for the male and female duos on the roster.
While some could be real life couples like Sammy Guevarra and Tay Melo, others would be faction mates like Willow Nightingale & Mark Briscoe or even Marina Shafir & Wheeler Yuta.
There could certainly be plenty of fun combinations if the titles were established via a randomly selected tournament, amping up the potential for anything to happen.

3. 5-Man Championship

Although there can be criticism of adding titles for the sake of adding them — a physical representation of a group achievement is valuable.
Potentially able to maximize the number of AEW stars that are at any given time able to call themselves champion, another multi-man title could be introduced.
While there are already the AEW Trios Championship, there isn’t a specific title for the bigger factions on the roster — but there could be.
With the likes of the Death Riders, The Don Callis Family, The Conglomeration and possibly the Hurt Syndicate if they were to pick up another member all fitting the bill, maybe there could be another new multi-man title introduced in the near future.

2. Women’s National Championship

While the addition of the AEW National Championship to the men’s division was met with some criticism online regarding the number of titles in the promotion —there could actually be a few more women’s titles.
Potentially able to introduce the National Championship to the women’s division as well, there are plenty of worthy contenders for a mid-card women’s title in AEW.
With Mercedes Mone continuing to hold the TBS Championship, an AEW women’s National Championship could provide another goal for the roster to target.
A title that could be similarly defended across promotions as has been confirmed regarding the newly introduced National Championship — AEW’s women could take it on the road to NJPW, CMLL and beyond.

1. Women’s Trios Championship

With the recent introduction of the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship, there could be a path forward for another multi-woman title to come around in the future.
Since there are plenty of three-woman combinations that could be created from the current AEW roster, perhaps the AEW Women’s Trios Championship could be on the way soon.
With the Triangle of Madness (Skye Blue, Julia Hart & Thekla) able to face off against teams such like Toni Storm, Mina Shirakawa and Jamie Hayter, Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron and Alex Windsor and even a new heel stable of Deonna Purrazzo, Megan Bayne & Marina Shafir — there could easily be another title for the AEW women’s division to fight over.
Able to add an accolade to the women’s division, there could certainly be some fun battles over these titles across AEW and ROH.
