With WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event fast approaching on November 1, there could still be time for some last minute surprises.
From matches that could still be added to even a way that John Cena could make his presence known — there are some changes that could still be made before showtime.
Here are five potential last minute changes that could be made to WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event.
5. Surprise Appearance From John Cena

While Dominik Mysterio is set to face both Rusev & PENTA for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event, perhaps there will be a surprise appearance from John Cena.
Cena certainly wouldn’t have to appear live but rather in some of taped message to set up his appearance on WWE Raw on November 10.
Perhaps issuing a challenge to whoever ends up holding the Intercontinental Championship by the end of the event, Cena has to be interested in the match result.
With the WWE Intercontinental Championship remaining the last championship eluding Cena and preventing him from achieving a WWE Grand Slam — he could certainly be set to do battle with any of the three men soon.

4. Special Guest Referee Added

Any of the title bouts that are set for the card could end up having special guest referees with each rivalry also involving another star with vested interest in the match outcomes.
With Jey Uso taking on CM Punk for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship, there could be a surprise addition of special referee Bron Breakker, LA Knight or Jimmy Uso to ratchet up the drama.
With Cody Rhodes looking to defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre at Saturday Night’s Main Event, there could be the intriguing addition of Randy Orton as guest referee.
Also on the card, Tiffany Stratton looks to defend her WWE Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill. After Cargill has seemingly turned heel, it could be that the return of Bianca Belair is coming up next — so perhaps Belair would suit up in the stripes again to ensure a fair fight on Peacock.

3. Women’s Speed Match Added

There could certainly be another match added to the card, possibly highlighting another female bout on the roster.
However with time certainly limited for the two-hour special on Peacock, perhaps the best fit would be to determine who will become the latest Women’s Speed Champion.
After Sol Ruca picked up an injury and will be unable to compete, she vacated the title on the October 28 edition of NXT.
With the nature of the Speed matches being perfect to add to an already stacked card due to their time limit, it would seem that adding this title bout would be easy enough.

2. No Rules For Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre

Things have gotten steadily more violent as the feud between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre has progressed.
Since this edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event will actually not be broadcast live on NBC and is rather a Peacock exclusive — there wouldn’t be any concerns regarding network censorship.
With the ability to potentially make the drama between the pair of rivals even more wild, adding a stipulation that essentially creates the ability to use weapons and even shed some blood — the more intense the match, the more likely it is that the feud will be over soon.
While WWE has potentially tipped their hand a bit in regards to the direction for WrestleMania with their promotional images of Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns seated opposite Brock Lesnar and CM Punk — it seems Rhodes could be hanging on to the title a bit longer.

1. Brock Lesnar Returns & Joins The Vision

With Seth Rollins being taken out of action due to injury, we may never know exactly how The Vision faction and the build to Survivor Series WarGames was intended to roll out.
With Breakker turning on Rollins — the previously reported configuration for the heel side of the men’s WarGames match that included all three Vision members joining forces with Austin Theory and Brock Lesnar is certainly scrapped.
But there could definitely still be a path forward that sees Brock Lesnar link up with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed with their mutual friend Paul Heyman brokering an alliance.
While Austin Theory’s inclusion could still happen, it could also be a red herring for another heel entirely that has yet to be revealed.
