WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event returns on July 12 from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
The card features Goldberg’s “Last Ride” as he bids adieu to professional wrestling, as well as Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins vs. LA Knight.
While the official card is likely to expand with at least one more match, there’s also a chance that we could see surprise debuts on the night.
Here are five stars who could make their WWE main roster debuts at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
5. Jacy Jayne

WWE’s all-women’s PLE, Evolution, returns on July 13 after a seven-year hiatus – one day after Saturday Night’s Main Event.
As a result, it seems highly likely the company will use the Saturday show to promote the following night’s card. One of Evolution’s marquee matches is the NXT Women’s Title bout between Jacy Jayne and Jordynne Grace.
Saturday Night’s Main Event would be the perfect opportunity for champion Jayne to make her official main roster debut — where she’s likely headed soon — to hype the match.
Jayne and Gigi Dolin had two matches on SmackDown back in 2022, but this could be the start of more consistent main roster action for Jayne, who does team up earlier in the day on Saturday with Fallon Henley against Grace and Blake Monroe at NXT’s Great American Bash.

4. Private Party

Private Party haven’t been seen on AEW programming since January 22, when they lost the AEW Tag Team Titles to The Hurt Syndicate.
Last month, Fightful reported that WWE had “preliminary interest” in signing the duo.
It seems likely the pair are on their way out of AEW – but could they be WWE-bound?
If so, Saturday Night’s Main Event would be a suitably big stage to debut the former AEW Tag Team Champions.

3. Gage Goldberg

Goldberg announced in May that his 19-year-old son Gage will walk him to the ring for his retirement match.
The aspiring college athlete is no stranger to WWE, having appeared on-screen multiple times since his father’s return in 2016 — even getting physically involved at SummerSlam 2021 by jumping in from the crowd during a match against Bobby Lashley.
Saturday Night’s Main Event could see Gage formally involved for the first time as his father’s second.
This appearance may foreshadow a future WWE career – something the teenager has hinted at pursuing once his football days are over.

2. Mr. Iguana

Once a little-known name outside of lucha libre fandom circles, Mr. Iguana has recently been catapulted to WWE stardom.
Certainly talented, the 36-year-old had long been an opening card act for AAA, but during his appearance at the joint AAA/WWE Worlds Collide show, he seemingly became WWE fans’ chosen luchador.
It’s clear WWE has plans for him – highlighted by the fact his image appears on WWE’s official roster page despite not yet being formally signed.
A full-time move feels inevitable, and Saturday Night’s Main Event may just mark his official company debut.

1. Oba Femi

On July 12, WWE is promoting a double-header – Saturday Night’s Main Event and NXT’s Great American Bash – both taking place from Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.
At The Great American Bash, NXT Champion Oba Femi defends his title against Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Yoshiki Inamura.
If the 27-year-old Performance Center standout retains, he will have effectively cleared out the division – making a main roster call-up feel imminent.
With both shows under the same roof, this could be the perfect stage to debut WWE’s next breakout star.
