With the special Title Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite happening on October 7, there could be some brand new debuts at the event.
From former WWE stars that departed the company some time ago to another who may be poised to become a free agent at midnight, there are some intriguing prospects.
Here are five debuts that could happen at AEW Title Tuesday.
5. Santos Escobar
It could be that Santos Escobar’s days with WWE are numbered after it was noted by his WWE contract is set to expire at midnight on October 6.
Interestingly it has been reported that while WWE had reached out to offer Escobar in effort to keep him in the company, Escobar declined.
Potentially with a next step already in mind, as a contract expiration rather than a release it is entirely possible that Escobar could pop-up for the special Title Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite.
Able to immediately link up with another WWE alum in Andrade El Idolo could create for a dynamic new layer to the Don Callis Family.

4. Dakota Kai
Another potential star that could answer Mercedes Mone’s open challenge for the TBS Championship on Dynamite is Dakota Kai.
While Kai has not returned to in-ring competition since departing WWE, there could be a good reason for her absence from indie dates – if she were already planned to sign with AEW.
Perhaps if she isn’t coming to AEW to take on Mercedes Mone, she might consider forming a tag team with the current TBS Champion in pursuit of the newly announced AEW women’s Tag Team titles.
With Mone having noted her desire to capture gold coupled with Kai’s long history with tag team excellence so far in her career – perhaps the duo could be the perfect pair in AEW.

3. Steven Borden
While he technically already appeared in a match in AEW, the eventual in-ring debut of Sting’s son Steven Borden should still be considered a debut.
Potentially popping up in AEW in-ring action sometime in the near future, the son of the WWE Hall of Famer has recently made an appearance with a top AEW name during an art exhibition.
Making his official wrestling debut on October 3 teaming with JD Drake, the team took on Darby Allin and another familiar face to professional wrestling fans in the unique showing.
Allin teamed with former WWE star Killer Kross (fka Karrion Kross) in the bout in which Allin and Kross came out on top.

2. Shotzi Blackheart
With Mercedes Mone set to face an opponent that remains to be determined for the TBS Championship on Title Tuesday – perhaps there will be a surprise from Shotzi Blackheart.
Since departing WWE the star has taken her in-ring talents to the indies where she has already made a big impact in GCW and MLW.
Potentially looking to make her AEW debut next, Blackheart could be a great surprise opponent for Mercedes Mone for the special Title Tuesday edition of Dynamite.
While it could lead to more appearances from Shotzi in the future, one-off appearances in AEW for special events are always fun.

1. Killer Kross and Scarlett
One intriguing debut on AEW Title Tuesday could be that of former WWE star Karrion Kross, accompanied by his real-life wife Scarlett.
Possibly arriving in AEW in the near future, seeing a massive surprise like Killer Kross on the special edition of Dynamite that is airing against NXT would be fascinating.
With WWE and AEW continuing to overlap in talent as well as air dates, the on-going battle for the attention of pro wrestling fans continues.
Certainly continuing to enjoy momentum from his last few months in WWE, Kross has been making an impact around independent wrestling and could be poised to do the same in AEW.
