5 Changes To WWE Raw Before John Cena Final Match

With WWE Raw being one of the final opportunities before John Cena’s final match this Saturday, there could be some big moments even in his absence.

From a potential shake-up due to an attack to the announced segments for the night leading to brand new rivalries, there might be some big changes ahead on WWE Raw.

Here are five potential changes to WWE Raw ahead of John Cena’s final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.

5. New Member Of The Vision Revealed

When Bron Breakker got on the mic for last week’s WWE Raw, he certainly delivered a passionate promo directed at CM Punk.

However, he did not reveal who the mystery attacker was at WarGames and essentially made reference to not knowing who it was – and even possibly being offended by their presence.

Not wanting to have anyone take the moment away from him and his victory, it could be that the masked man really has nothing to do with Bron Breakker.

Seemingly a nod to a future reveal that could show Paul Heyman has already betrayedBreakker, it would be interesting to see the masked man revealed now with the fallout in advance of Breakker’s big shot at Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship on January 5.

4. GUNTHER Attacked

While the Last Time Is Now tournament was a fun showcase of some of WWE’s best talent in addition to fun nostalgic moments, the winner was seemingly known from the start.

With longstanding rumors that GUNTHER was set to be John Cena’s final opponent, the conclusion of the final was almost a foregone conclusion.

However, with still one episode of WWE Raw left in between the victory and Saturday Night’s Main Event, there could be a massive swerve incoming.

If another WWE star were to attack GUNTHER to take him out of action, they could potentially steal his place against Cena and create a brand new rivalry with The Ring General on the other side.

3. Bayley Turns Heel

Ahead of her exhibition match against Sol Ruca set for Saturday Night’s Main Event, it could be that there is a big change coming for Bayley.

With Lyra Valkyria set to take on Roxanne Perez on the December 8 edition of WWE Raw, Bayley could once and for all make her mindset clear.

If she were to clearly betray Valkyria or align with Perez in the event that Perez may be looking to leave the Judgment Day after the return of Liv Morgan, there could be an even bigger emotional story coming ahead of John Cena’s last match.

With the potential for Valkyria to make a surprise appearance on the sure-to-be-highly-watched special edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event hosting John Cena’s last match, there could be two up and coming babyface talent introduced to a massive audience while also debuting a brand new Bayley.

2. Liv Morgan Confronts Stephanie Vaquer

One potential shift that could be coming ahead in the women’s division might be unveiled during the last WWE Raw ahead of Saturday Night’s Main Event.

With Stephanie Vaquer set to address the WWE Raw audience on the December 8 edition on Netflix, there is a perfect opportunity for her next challenger to emerge.

Since she could be on a mission to immediately target the Women’s World Champion, Liv Morgan could certainly reveal herself as the next opponent for Vaquer.

Leading to some tension within the Judgment Day – since Roxanne Perez has largely failed in her attempts to get a title shot against Vaquer – there could be a dual purpose for the storyline shift.

1. WWE World Tag Team Championship Change

Set for the December 8 edition of WWE Raw is a tag team title match set to see AJ Styles and Dragon Lee look to defend the World Tag Team Championship against the War Raiders.

Since the New Day have continually been seeking a title shot, it would make sense to see some interference in this bout that could lead to a surprise title change.

Flipping the WWE World Tag Team Title over to the War Raiders could create an intriguing race for what team might be next in line to attempt to tackle the tag team division even if their reign was brief.

Leaving room for a heel turn from The Usos, a new reign under the New Day or potentially even a return to WWE from Matt & Jeff Hardy as the final match for Saturday Night’s Main Event – perhaps by this time next week there could be yet another pair of new champs.
