The October 20 edition of WWE Raw takes place from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.

With less than two weeks to go until Saturday Night’s Main Event, the show is expected to see the card begin to take shape – and, more importantly, provide answers about the status of the World Heavyweight Championship.

This week’s Raw also features three title matches, with the World Tag Team Title and both the men’s and women’s Intercontinental Titles on the line.

As the road to Saturday Night’s Main Event continues, we’re likely to see storyline developments and key changes – here are five things we could see on WWE Raw.

5. Seth Rollins Vacates WWE World Heavyweight Championship

The big question in WWE right now is what’s happening with the World Heavyweight Championship.

Seth Rollins suffered a shoulder injury during his main event clash with Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel and now requires surgery that could keep him out of action for an extended period – with the hope being that he’ll be able to return in time for WrestleMania.

On the October 20 edition of Raw, brand General Manager Adam Pearce is set to address the situation.

Given the severity of Rollins’ injury, it appears inevitable that Pearce will announce the title is being vacated.

4. Brock Lesnar Returns

Brock Lesnar returned to WWE at Wrestlepalooza and once again aligned himself with Paul Heyman.

With Seth Rollins injured, could we see Lesnar slot into his role at the top of Raw?

It’s possible Lesnar could return on the October 20 edition of the show, demanding a place in a match for the World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Winning the World Championship, it could plant the seeds for a big-time main event at WrestleMania 42, pitting Lesnar against Heyman’s younger charge, Bron Breakker.

3. World Tag Team Title Changes Hands

The October 20 edition of Raw promises three title matches: Dominik Mysterio vs Rusev for the Intercontinental Championship, Becky Lynch vs Maxxine Dupri for the Women’s Intercontinental Title, and The Judgment Day vs AJ Styles & Dragon Lee for the World Tag Team Championship.

Of the three, it appears unlikely that either of the Intercontinental Titles will change hands, with Mysterio reportedly set to face John Cena at Survivor Series and Lynch continuing her feud with AJ Lee, with the belts central to their storylines.

However, we could very well see the tag title change hands.

Styles has been receiving renewed emphasis on WWE programming, having recently announced his impending retirement, and after a celebrated performance against John Cena at Crown Jewel, teaming with the super-talented Dragon Lee could see him capture tag team gold in WWE for only the second time – the first being with Omos in 2021.

2. AJ Lee Appears

AJ Lee returned to WWE last month after a decade-long absence to much fanfare.

The 38-year-old star picked up a major victory at Wrestlepalooza, teaming with CM Punk to defeat Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins in a mixed tag match; nevertheless, their rivalry looks set to continue, with Lee intimating that she has her sights set on Lynch’s Intercontinental Title.

Before any singles clash, though, it’s likely both women will compete in the upcoming Women’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series.

On this week’s Raw, we could see Lee make her first appearance since Wrestlepalooza — potentially during or after Becky Lynch’s title defence against Maxxine Dupri.

1. Multi-Person Match Announced For World Title

If Seth Rollins vacates the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the question then becomes how the new champion will be determined.

This appears to be something Adam Pearce will announce tonight.

While there are several possible options on the table to crown a new champion, one possibility is for it to be revealed as a multi-person match set for Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Originally, CM Punk was set to challenge Seth Rollins for the title at the event, so he’ll almost certainly feature – with LA Knight and Jey Uso also potential participants.
