AEW has a massive summer of shows lined up.
On 18 June they debut at the historic Arena Mexico, followed by All In: Texas on 12 July – their first stadium show in the U.S. – and then Forbidden Door, held in the UK for the first time on 24 August.
With events of this scale, it’s certain that we’ll see championships changing hands.
Below are the titles most likely to change at these blockbuster shows.
Kenny Omega Unifies AEW Continental & International Championships

At All In: Texas, Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada are set to meet for the first time in seven years, rekindling their legendary rivalry that began in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
With Omega holding the AEW International Championship and Okada reigning as Continental Champion, the match will crown the first-ever Unified Champion — with the new title belt unveiled on the 11 May edition of Dynamite.
Their last meeting, at NJPW’s Dominion in 2018, is widely regarded as the greatest match in professional wrestling history – and it remains to be seen whether they can equal or surpass that encounter.
What is certain, however, is that a new champion will be crowned — and it seems likely that company icon Omega will have his hand raised as the inaugural Unified Champion.

Mercedes Moné Becomes A 5 Belt Champion

At AEW’s Grand Slam: Mexico on 18 June, Mercedes Moné is set to challenge for the CMLL Women’s World Championship.
The match was made official after Moné issued the challenge to CMLL’s Zeuxis on the 11 June edition of Dynamite.
Should she win, it would mark the fifth championship added to Moné’s ever-growing collection of gold.
While not technically an AEW title, all signs point to a title change happening on AEW programming — with Moné likely walking into her match with Toni Storm at All In holding yet another belt.

Gabe Kidd Wins Unified Title

Winning the Unified Championship at All In, Kenny Omega’s reign may not be a long one.
Current signs point to a potential title clash against New Japan star Gabe Kidd at Forbidden Door in August.
Omega and Kidd previously met in January at Wrestle Dynasty in the Tokyo Dome, in a bout many have called the match of the year — with Omega ultimately scoring the win.
With Kidd now appearing in AEW and reigniting his feud with Omega during Anarchy in the Arena, the seeds are clearly being planted for a rematch in Kidd’s home country, the UK — this time with Kidd getting his win back and walking away as the new champion.

Mercedes Moné Wins AEW Women’s World Championship

The world title bout between Owen Hart Cup winner Mercedes Moné and champion “Timeless” Toni Storm is the biggest women’s match in AEW’s six-year history.
There’s a legitimate argument to be made that this match — not the men’s — should main event All In: Texas.
Another debate is who should walk out as champion: Moné is arguably on the hottest in-ring streak of her career, while Storm remains, arguably, AEW’s most over performer.
While it’s truly a pick ’em, we could very well see Moné capture the one title that’s so far eluded her, leaving Texas as the new AEW Women’s World Champion.

Hangman Page Captures AEW World Championship

At All In: Texas, the main event will see Owen Hart Cup winner “Hangman” Adam Page challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship.
Hangman’s story of redemption has captured the imagination of the AEW fanbase, while Moxley’s fourth reign with the title has proven to be the most divisive in company history.
It’s widely expected that Moxley’s run will come to an end in Texas, with Hangman finally completing his winding road back to the top of the company.
The crowd at Globe Life Field will come unglued if Hangman scores the pinfall — finally freeing the AEW World Championship from the briefcase it’s been hidden in for the past eight months.
