Ahead of a major opportunity at AEW Worlds End 2025, a top star will return to in-ring action during next week’s AEW Dynamite on 34th Street.
After a three month absence, MJF made his return to AEW programming during Wednesday’s Holiday Bash episode of Dynamite.
Immediately inserting himself into the main event angle, MJF interrupted the contract signing for Samoa Joe, Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland’s three-way for the AEW World Title at Worlds End.
Cashing in his guaranteed AEW World Title shot that he earned at All In Texas in July, MJF turned the three-way into a four-way and will hope to win the company’s top prize for the second time in his career come December 27.
While that match was presumed by fans to be his big return to the ring, AEW has now confirmed that MJF will actually compete at AEW Dynamite on 34th Street on Christmas Eve.
It has not yet been confirmed who MJF will compete against on the show, but we will provide updates if/when this is announced.
MJF last wrestled at AEW All Out on September 20, losing a Tables N’ Tacks Match to Mark Briscoe.
In his absence MJF filmed his role in Violent Night 2, which is set for a release in theaters in December 2026.
