Roman Reigns has commented after The Rock passed him the ‘Ula Fala’ during the premiere episode of WWE Raw on Netflix tonight.
The opening match of tonight’s show was the Tribal Combat match between Reigns and Solo Sikoa, to determine the ‘true’ Tribal Chief of The Bloodline.
That match followed The Rock’s show-opening promo, and after Reigns picked up the win, Rock came back out to the ring.
Rock personally put the Ula Fala wreath around Roman Reigns’ neck to effectively approve of Reigns as the Tribal Chief, showing no hostility while doing so.
During the post-show press conference, Reigns was asked what it meant to him to have that moment with The Rock, to which he replied:
“It was a great honor to be able to represent our family, from the very top, the High Chief Peter Maivia, to my father Sika, my Uncle Afa.
“To be able to showcase our legacy, put on our craft for the whole world on Netflix.
“I say it all the time, it’s all about this representation to showcase our talents, and just how good we are at this craft, and tonight was another opportunity to go and do that, and who better to do that with than Dwayne.”

Roman Reigns was also asked about the possibility of a match against Rock, to which he simply replied:
“We’re just gonna let the internet do its thing.”
The Rock is set to appear on tomorrow night’s episode of WWE NXT.
