The latest update has emerged on a new WWE tag team that has been picking up some momentum on the NXT brand as of late.
A few months back, a mysterious alliance was forming between Tatum Paxley and Gigi Dolin, which eventually led to the formation of a trio alongside Shotzi.
Shotzi hasn’t been around for a few weeks, and it now looks like Paxley and Dolin are moving forward as a tag team.
On last night’s March 25 episode of WWE NXT, they teamed up to score a win against the established team of Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, debuting a new double-team finisher called Cemetery Drive in the process.
Next, Paxley and Dolin have a shot at the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship on this week’s episode of TNA Impact against Ash & Heather By Elegance.
In an interview after last night’s win, they addressed their future plans, with Paxley saying:
“What’s next? What’s next is you’re gonna see me and my friend Gigi Dolin on your television screens way more often.
“The freakiest thing you’ve ever seen.”
Dolin then added:
“That’s right, and tonight was just a taste of what we’re gonna do this Thursday at TNA to Heather & Ash By Elegance.”
They then both shouted in unison:
“Elegance my ass!”
As for Shotzi, there’s no word on why she’s been off TV for the past few weeks. She hasn’t made an appearance since she was pulled out of the Royal Rumble at the last minute in favor of the returning Alexa Bliss.
