The new name for a WWE faction has been confirmed after the company filed a trademark for the term just yesterday.
On May 12, WWE filed to trademark the term ‘The High Ryze’ with the following description:
Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment
During tonight’s May 12 episode of NXT, we got confirmation on what exactly The High Ryze is.
As confirmed during Wes Lee’s entrance for his match against Tony D’Angelo, The High Ryze is the name for the trio of Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe, who have been together for a few months now.
Lee scored the win in his match against Tony D’Angelo, after D’Angelo was distracted by a video message from Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo, informing D’Angelo that Stacks had found Adriana Rizzo’s safehouse.
