MJF has sent a message to the AEW fanbase and his rivals on the roster following his return on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite.
Taking place from Manchester, England, AEW hosted a special three hour double helping of Dynamite & Collision action with the Holiday Bash theming.
The biggest piece of news from the show was certainly the return of Maxwell Jacob Friedman, who appeared on the company’s programming for the first time since September.
Immediately inserting himself into the AEW World Title match at next Saturday’s Worlds End pay-per-view, by way of cashing in his Casino Gauntlet contract that he won at All In Texas in July – MJF is now potentially looking at a second reign with the company’s op prize should he be able to best Swerve Strickland, Hangman Adam Page and current champion Samoa Joe.
After verbally running every one of his opponents down, MJF took to Twitter to reply to his last post from September, reflecting a massive change in his confidence levels ahead of this run.
In reply to a September 20 tweet which read: “Idk anymore, man”, MJF wrote:
I remembered.
You’re all f**ked.
MJF’s September 20 post came after he had lost to Mark Briscoe in a Tables N’ Tacks Match at AEW All Out 2025, which was the last time he competed inside the ring.
