Jacob Fatu has shared his honest thoughts on a WWE rival and fellow Bloodline family member, teasing their future together.
Debuting on WWE SmackDown in June 2024, Jacob Fatu initially joined The Bloodline, the faction featuring members with familial ties to the Samoan dynasty.
In its second iteration, and led by Solo Sikoa, The Bloodline became MFT in June of last year, with Fatu having betrayed the new leader at Money in the Bank early that month.
Sikoa and Fatu would go on to feud, with a major moment taking place at Night of Champions on June 28, something that would be touched upon in a recent interview with Esteban Ramirez.
Speaking during the interview, Fatu would reflect on his relationship with the first man to pin him WWE, and predicted their future together, saying:
“Hey man, as of now, the MFTs have got something good going on over there. Do I want to be a part of the group? Come on now. But overall, it’s a love-and-hate type of situation with me and Solo.
“Solo was the very first man in WWE that pinned Jacob Fatu. Solo was the man that brought Jacob Fatu up in there.
“Let’s keep it 100, those promos – not even promos, that work of art – that Solo was talking about, it’s all 100. It was all real.
“Yeah, Jacob didn’t care about nothing but myself. Yeah, Solo did bring me in when nobody wanted to touch me. Yeah, Solo was really looking out, not only in his Bloodline, but in real.
“So yeah, it is love and hate, but overall, they up right now. Now you’ve got Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga, JC Mateo. They’re running it right now with The Wyatts, but I can’t even answer your question right now. All I can just say is our paths eventually are going to cross.”

Fatu was last in action on the March 13 episode of SmackDown, losing to Trick Williams, with his previous match also being a loss in an men’s Elimination Chamber qualifying match, which saw Logan Paul progress to the titular Premium Live Event.
The star has recently revealed that his original ring name, as a member of the Sikoa-led Bloodline, was going to be ‘Caesar Sikoa‘.
The Bloodline Is Thicker Than Water
Fatu is the cousin of Roman Reigns, but has previously stated that he didn’t want to be known simply in that capacity to the WWE fanbase.
There is still a strong presence for the Samoan dynasty within WWE, with Roman Reigns and The Usos reuniting of late.
A legacy made up of three family trees, The Bloodline is formed from members of the Anoa’i, Maivia and Fatu families, with an in-depth breakdown right here.
On WWE television, their relationships have been tense, but it’s entirely possible that a reunion could be in their shared futures. After all, Jimmy and Jey Uso came back together after their partnership seemed fractured, and Roman Reigns was last seen with the twin brothers at last year’s Survivor Series WarGames.
