WWE Stars To Leave NXT

Share

With several recent departures from WWE NXT in 2025, there may still be more stars that are poised to switch brands before the year is wrapped up.

From confirmed departures from the company as a whole, to others that could be leaving NXT to make the move to the main roster, the roster could soon see some changes.

Here are seven WWE stars to leave NXT.

7. Oba Femi

WWE NXT Champion Oba Femi

After dropping the NXT Championship to Ricky Saints at NXT No Mercy, it would seem that The Ruler’s days on the brand are numbered.

Potentially looking to move to the main roster in the near future, it seems to be a toss up between WWE Raw and SmackDown regarding where Femi could land, with intriguing possibilities on either show.

After having impressive runs with both the NXT Championship and NXT North American Championship, Femi would be an immediate threat to the mid card titles on Raw and SmackDown.

Able to challenge the likes of Sheamus and Rusev on WWE Raw or the MFTs on SmackDown, Oba Femi is a star on the rise to watch.

6. Jordynne Grace

With her feud with Blake Monroe seemingly wrapped up following their Weaponised Steel Cage Match at No Mercy, it may be time for Jordynne Grace to get a change os scenery in WWE.

While Grace could effectively integrate into the WWE Raw roster, her skills may be even more relevant over on SmackDown and she has previously been linked to the brand in backstage reports earlier in the year.

With SmackDown seemingly rebuilding a more robust women’s division after quite repetitive feuds over recent months, Jordynne Grace could be an amazing contribution to the blue brand.

The only question will be whether WWE first pull the trigger on Grace holding the NXT Women’s Title at leats once before she makes the leap to the main roster?

5. Wren Sinclair

Able to continue her partnership on screen in NXT with Charlie Dempsey, it would be great to see more from Wren Sinclair with a spell in TNA Wrestling.

Potentially able to utilize the crossovers between NXT and TNA Wrestling to showcase her skills as a singles star, Sinclair could benefit from a storyline in TNA.

Similarly to Kelani Jordan’s recent foray into the world of TNA, there are numerous Knockouts division stars that would have compelling matches with Sinclair.

While her work on NXT TV has been largely relegated to being a member of the No Quarter Catch Crew, the indie scene veteran boasts experience that could set her apart in another setting.

4. Ethan Page

Following in the footsteps of Trick Williams, Ethan Page could end up effectively departing NXT while occupying a major role in TNA Wrestling.

Able to unite in a storyline with both Chelsea Green and Matt Cardona in TNA Wrestling, it could be an iconic side quest.

With their partnership already ruling on NXT, the duo of Green & Page could also bring the act to the main roster eventually, with Page’s call-up an inevitability after he drops his gold.

With a growing number of mixed tag teams on WWE Raw, perhaps Page will be drafted away from NXT and reunite with the Secret Hervice on Netflix.

3. Tony D’Angelo

A star that was seemingly written off TV in a scene with a cliffhanger ending, Tony D’Angelo could end up being resurrected elsewhere.

While he has been absent from NXT TV since mid-July, “The Don” is reportedly not out of action due to injury but rather taking some time off.

Although his character could return to NXT, it would make a lot more sense to see the former Heritage Cup Champion move on to the main roster entirely.

Also able to bring his entire gimmick to TNA Wrestling, there are options for what might be next for D’Angelo.

2. Charlie Dempsey

One NXT star that should be included in the rumored tournament to determine John Cena’s final opponent is Charlie Dempsey.

Able to move to the main roster with immediate acclaim based on his look and technical prowess that matches his famous lineage, Charlie Dempsey could find more solid footing on the main roster than NXT.

With the wild and wacky world of NXT being a great sandbox for some characters, Dempsey’s No Quarter Catch Crew faction has seemingly run its course.

With the potential to bring in Dempsey’s real life father William Regal for on-screen appearances, there could be some remarkable moments within the tournament.

1. Ridge Holland

One departure that is certain from NXT and WWE as a whole is Ridge Holland.

While he had been trying out a new character iteration — adding the “Steam Pig” moniker and wrestling in a more intense style in shows — he would sadly pick up an injury during a dark match against Moose in TNA Wrestling that has taken him out of action.

On October 13, he revealed via social media that WWE were not renewing his contract, which is set to expire on November 14.

While he hadn’t been featured on WWE NXT since May, he had continued to appear in NXT house shows as well as on WWE Evolve and some matches in TNA.
