With TNA Wrestling iMPACT heading to the AMC Network in January, there could perhaps soon be more WWE stars featured on their programming.
From those who have history in TNA Wrestling, to others that would be brand new to the brand, there are several interesting WWE stars that could sign with TNA Wrestling in the near future.
Here are six WWE stars that may be set to join TNA Wrestling soon.
6. AJ Styles

One major name that could make the leap to TNA Wrestling is an icon from the past in the company — AJ Styles.
AJ Styles is nearing the end of his WWE contract, and has confirmed that his in-ring retirement will come at the same time – but there could be a new opportunity on the horizon outside of the company.
With the inaugural episode of Thursday Night iMPACT coming to the AMC Network on January 15, 2026, perhaps Styles could be a major name that the promotion could grab for at least one final match.
Whether for an in-ring appearance or just for a non-physical role, Styles would be a tremendous attraction star that could draw in brand new fans to TNA as well as vintage TNA fans who still fondly recall his past work.

5. Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate

Casual WWE fans may wonder where on earth the New Catch Republic duo of Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate went after having been in tag team action on the main roster.
But keen observers have noted that both Dunne & Bate continue to feature in WWE programming, albeit now as Rayo Americano and Bravo Americano respectively.
With the pair joining the new El Grande Americano portrayed by Ludwig Kaiser, it could be that both Dunne and Bate remain in heavy rotation in Mexico’s AAA as well as WWE’s other partner promotions.
While they could make their TNA debuts as Rayo and Bravo, there could also be room for the pair to re-emerge as the New Catch Republic in TNA Wrestling as a part of NXT’s continued crossover with the brand. Able to bring a fun element to the tag team division, the pair have a lot of in-ring ability left to be showcased.

4. The Miz

A WWE veteran that continues to be vastly underrated in terms of his overall contributions is The Miz.
In what could prove to be a fascinating farewell tour of his own, The Miz could absolutely head to TNA Wrestling for a spell and anchor their new AMC Network show, Thursday Night iMPACT set to debut in January 2026.
Lending his mainstream name recognition to the launch of the new show, it could be that the partnership ends up beneficial for both The Miz and TNA Wrestling.
Able to bring in interested current fans as well as returning viewers, it might be that The Miz takes TNA Wrestling by storm in 2026 and wins the third world championship of his career.

3. Otis & Akira Tozawa

A pair of beloved WWE veterans that could get a fresh start in TNA Wrestling, Otis & Akira Tozawa could see a whole new storyline emerge.
Able to go on an amazing tag team run in TNA Wrestling, the duo could actually get a brand new lease of life in TNA Wrestling without changing a lot about their current characters.
With or without Maxxine Dupri in tow, Otis and Tozawa could certainly make their mark in the tag team division that could potentially be set to see the departure of Matt & Jeff Hardy in 2026 — leaving room for a new top team.
With each holding their own unique in-ring abilities, TNA could showcase their skills in a new way if given a different environment to perform.

2. Michin

One potential return to TNA Wrestling from WWE is Michin, formerly known as Jade and Mia Yim during two tenures in TNA.
Having a successful pair of runs in TNA’s Knockouts division in the past, there could be a very good reason for Michin to make her way back to the company.
If AJ Styles is to make a return to TNA, he could be accompanied by Michin in their takeover of the company’s roster.
Even in the absence of Styles, Michin could inject the veteran star power that the Knockouts division needs heading into a new TV era on AMC.

1. Austin Theory

One WWE star that has been making headlines as of late is Austin Theory after some speculation that he could have factored in a major angle.
While he seems set to be revealed as the masked man that appeared at the end of the men’s Survivor Series WarGames match to deliver a stomp to CM Punk — it could also end up being a total red herring.
If he were to pop-up in TNA Wrestling instead, it could be an amazing opportunity for him to rebrand as well as find new success in a different company that is still affiliated with WWE.
Considering he’s still yet to hit 30, Theory has time on his side and a side quest in TNA could rebuild him in a way that could set up more sustained success back in WWE when the time comes.
