AJ Styles has temporarily filling in as a Performance Center coach and producer in a role which has seen him be hands-on with training a number of prospects.
With Pete Dunne/Rayo Americano also working as a producer in AAA, and having worked backstage on previous WWE matches, it will be interesting to see which other WWE stars end up taking on similar backstage roles.
From stars who run training sessions outside of WWE to wrestlers who are helping to train second-generation talent, these stars all have resumes which would make them great candidates for Performance Center roles.
Here are five WWE stars who could become coaches or producers at the Performance Center in the future.
Seth Rollins
While the departures of the likes of Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Sheamus have led many to believe there’s no longer such thing as a WWE lifer, Seth Rollins seems to be the star who is considered to be one the most from the current roster.
Outside of WWE, Rollins co-runs the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy, which has produced a number of notable alumni including SmackDown star Nathan Frazer.
The Black and Brave Wrestling Academy already has a relationship with WWE, being one of the official schools which is part of the WWE ID program.
Schedule permitting, it would make sense for WWE to allow Seth Rollins to use his in-ring and coaching experience to mentor the next generation of Performance Center recruits.
GUNTHER
With GUNTHER’s impressive in-ring accomplishments, the Ring General’s experience as a trainer can often be overshadowed.
GUNTHER served as the head trainer for the wXw Wrestling Academy in Germany for five years before joining the US NXT brand, meaning he was already an experienced coach before setting foot in the PC himself.
This coaching ability was highlighted on WWE LFG in early 2025, with GUNTHER criticizing The Undertaker for not helping Tyra Mae Steele realize her potential as a killer talent.
The Undertaker eventually conceding to GUNTHER shows just how much respect the former World Heavyweight Champion has even from legends as a coach.
Jacob Fatu
Nattie recently revealed that Jacob Fatu is helping to train a former WWE star’s two sons at her Dungeon training facility.
While speaking on TMZ’s Inside The Ring, the Lowkey Legend noted that Fatu has been coaching Tatanka’s sons, Joseph and Jeremiah Chavis, both in the ring and on promos.
With Shawn Michaels recently sharing praise for Joseph Chavis following his WWE tryout over SummerSlam weekend, Fatu’s work as a mentor has been paying off.
With Jacob Fatu training two potential future signees, it would make sense to have him train other prospects already on WWE’s books at the PC.
Nattie
Speaking of Nattie, there are few people single-handedly doing more for the current pro-wrestling landscape than the Lowkey Legend.
Nattie and TJ Wilson run invite-only training sessions at their Dungeon training facility, where stars from WWE, AEW and all over the wrestling world work to improve their in-ring work.
With the likes of Jacob Fatu, Liv Morgan and Ilja Dragunov singing Nattie’s praises as a coach, it’s clear that she knows what she’s doing when it comes to refining talent.
While she may want to focus on training at the Dungeon, Nattie would be an incredible asset for the Performance Center, as shown through her stint as a coach on WWE LFG.
Bayley
In addition to Nattie, Bayley is another star who hosts in-ring training sessions outside of WWE.
Since 2025, Bayley has ran several “Lodestone” training camps, bringing in special guests including John Cena, Charlotte Flair and Nattie to help coach the next generation of women’s wrestlers.
With Bayley helping numerous stars outside of WWE, we could eventually see the Role Model become more integrated in WWE’s own Performance Center and coaching system.
It’s clear Bayley is dedicated to giving back to the next generation of women’s wrestling. With the NXT women’s division’s stellar reputation, it would be interesting to see what kind of impact te former WWE Women’s Champion could have in the developmental system.
