WWE Stars To Join New Version Of Judgment Day

Share

WWE stars Finn Balor and Roxanne Perez

While the Judgment Day has been a dominant WWE faction for several years, the group has repeatedly evolved with new members.

The linear story through the Judgment Day has been one of perpetual betrayal – mostly spearheaded by Finn Balor. Now it seems the former Universal Champion is ready to assert more authority and potentially even branch off with his own new faction.

Perhaps looking to recruit young stars to his faction, he could also search the roster for veterans without an alliance. Here are eight stars that could join a brand new iteration of the Judgment Day.

8. Roxanne Perez

After being spotted in the background of a scene chatting with Finn Balor, one choice for a new Judgment Day would be Roxanne Perez.

Potentially being recruited to simply replace Liv Morgan, Perez could definitely find herself in a tag team with Raquel Rodriguez if Balor wanted to keep that alliance at all.

However, more likely, he could be crafting his own entirely new faction and the ambitious Perez has clearly shown grit, immediately targeting the top of the card in the women’s division since arriving on the scene on WWE Raw.

While perhaps Balor is only interested in getting Perez to join his squad, she has a recent running buddy who would also be a solid choice…

7. Giulia

Already teaming with Roxanne Perez since the pair of NXT stars arrived at the Raw after WrestleMania 41, Balor could be chatting to Giulia next.

While she was largely presented as a babyface in NXT, it seems that the main roster version of the “Beautiful Madness” has a darker tone.

Teaming with Roxanne Perez, Giulia has been popping up to attack IYO SKY and/or Rhea Ripley on more than one occasion, clearly demonstrating she isn’t afraid of a fight.

If Finn Balor is looking to create a band of tough, gritty and ambitious wrestlers to help him take over WWE – Giulia would be a great pick.

6. Kairi Sane & Asuka

Both Asuka and Kairi Sane are reportedly nearing returns to WWE following injuries and subsequent rehab.

Damage CTRL seems to be over as a faction with Dakota Kai being released from WWE and IYO SKY finding success in singles action.

However, this particular pair of veterans who have seen in-ring success all over the world could find similar motivation to the likes of Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.

Very capable of portraying rebels, both Kairi Sane and Asuka would make a great addition to Finn Balor’s growing anarchy squad.

5. Ilja Dragunov

Former NXT Champion and NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov is still out of action due to injury but when he is ready to return, he would certainly be a powerful member of the new Judgment Day.

Aligning with a more chaotic group could be a very entertaining foil for his serious demeanor, which could definitely bolster fondness from fans.

While there are varying reports regarding when Dragunov may be back to in-ring competition – ranging from “soon” to as late as October 2025 – he is a star that could be slowly reintroduced to audiences via a mystery of some sort.

If there was a mystery attacker on the loose and it ended up being Ilja Dragunov as the surprising final member of the faction, there is a major moment waiting in the squad’s back pocket that could come in quite handy!

4. Rusev

Rusev is back in WWE and it seems that there is no affable “Rusev Day” aspect to this version of the Bulgarian who has been presented as a new monster.

Since making his return , Rusev has taken on Otis but it seems that there will be something bigger in the future for him.

Joining a faction led by Finn Balor, full of other beleaguered veterans of the industry, the group could find common purpose in wanting to prove themselves.

Rusev seems as though he definitely has a path in mind in WWE – so Balor would be better suited to recruit the newly returned star versus attempting to be on the other side of his wrath.

3. Sheamus

With the original version of Judgment Day (remember Edge, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley?) meant to bring light to underutilized performers – perhaps Sheamus could fall under that category.

Potentially his inability to grasp the Intercontinental Championship – which just so happens to be held by Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio – as his motivation for wanting to turn over a new leaf, the generally pleasant Sheamus could definitely tap into his darker side.

With the entire group able to effectively be bad guys that the fans love, Sheamus could add a little bit of grit to his presentation and still be popular.

The veteran should also probably eventually tangle with John Cena again at some point in this farewell tour, a move that would make sense if Cena were facing a panel of the new Judgment Day stars in a multi-man match.

2. Tommaso Ciampa

While Tommaso Ciampa has found some recent success in WWE by capturing the WWE Tag Team Championship with Johnny Gargano, their tag team DIY has been primarily losing since dropping the belts in March 2025.

Recently sporting a new freshly shaven look, it seems that there is a change on the way for Ciampa in some sense but it isn’t clear exactly what that may look like.

Definitely able to be a powerful singles star in addition to his abilities to work in a tag team, Ciampa also has a very clear motivation – to prove that he is as good as he once was.

Able to capitalize on the similar theme throughout the group – should Balor choose to go with a squad that shares some sense of being a cast aside veteran – there could be resurrection for multiple roster members at once.

1. Mariah May

Recruiting from outside the company, the new Judgment Day would be wise to attempt to bring in former AEW Women’s World Champion, Mariah May.

A clear challenger to the WWE Women’s World Championship with a background in international excellence already in her career, Mariah May could be a huge get for Balor’s new faction.

May demonstrated her acting chops and ability to carry-on long and complex storylines during her time in AEW, and could now be poised to take the skills to a brand new stage.

It bears repeating that there has still been no confirmation whether or not Mariah May is definitely heading to WWE, but reports have pointed in that direction, and she hasn’t been on AEW TV since Revolution.
