Over on Friday Night SmackDown, there are several stars who will be looking to explore their options outside of the blue brand.

From those suffering through lengthy losing streaks to main event talent who are ready for a fresh, new scenery, the list of names who could be on the move following WrestleMania 42 might just be very interesting.

Here are six WWE stars to potentially leave SmackDown after WrestleMania 42.

6. Johnny Gargano & Candice LeRae

On the January 30 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Axiom defeated Johnny Gargano to win back his mask.

After this loss, Gargano has fallen into a deep depression that has seen him laying face down backstage on SmackDown each week.

With his wife Candice LeRae trying to snap him out of it, Gargano has felt like he doesn’t have much to do on the blue brand as of late.

Gargano and LeRae leaving SmackDown could lead to any number of possibilities, whether it be heading back to NXT, going to Monday Night Raw or leaving WWE completely.

5. Jordynne Grace

In January 2026, Jordynne Grace got called up to the WWE main roster after a year on the NXT brand.

Immediately positioning herself into title contention, Grace kickstarted a rivalry with WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill.

On the February 13 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Cargill defeated Grace to retain the WWE Women’s Championship.

Feeling like someone who could excel around the stacked group of female stars on Monday nights, Grace might be a better fit for WWE Raw if she decides to leave SmackDown for a new home following WrestleMania 42.

4. Aleister Black & Zelina

Making his return to WWE in April 2025, Aleister Black looked to redeem himself in his second stint with the company.

Then during his rivalry with Damian Priest in 2025, Black joined forces with his wife Zelina Vega to make a “Necessary Evil” pairing with the married couple.

Black and Zelina have been on a nice run on Friday Night SmackDown, but they could potentially capture championship gold on the red brand.

Having what it takes to potentially be into contention for the World Heavyweight Championship, Black heading to WWE Raw might open the door for his first world title win of his career.

In 2025, Giulia made the jump from WWE NXT to the main roster, becoming part of the Friday Night SmackDown roster.

It did not take long before “The Beautiful Madness” won the WWE Women’s United States Championship.

Now a two-time Women’s US Champion, Giulia has been enduring a rough stretch of notable losses on SmackDown.

Feeling pushed aside in favor of her representative Kiana James, Giulia might need a change of scenery by heading to Monday Night Raw to fully launch to the next level in WWE.

2. The MFTs (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga & JC Mateo)

Over the past two years, Solo Sikoa has firmly established herself as one of the biggest heels on Friday Night SmackDown.

First creating The New Bloodline and now the leader of The MFTs, Sikoa has been running roughshod on the blue brand alongside Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga and JC Mateo.

While his former Bloodline stablemates Roman Reigns and The Usos are on Monday Night Raw, Solo might have to bring his MFTs to a new home following the conclusion of their rivalry with The Wyatt Sicks.

Wanting to get away from Uncle Howdy and company once and for all, The MFTs could be on the move to WWE Raw to cement their dominance on the company’s flagship show following WrestleMania 42.

Ever since getting called up from WWE NXT to the main roster, Tiffany Stratton has called Friday Night SmackDown her home.

Since making her main roster debut in 2024, Stratton has been the WWE Women’s Champion and Ms. Money In The Bank.

Stratton is someone who still has so many different dream matches that she can deliver against a plethora of talent that is currently on Monday Night Raw.

Whether it be against Stephanie Vaquer, Asuka or IYO SKY, it feels like Stratton heading to WWE Raw is almost inevitable and would offer so many memorable moments along the way.
