As WWE World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk is seemingly set to lead the men’s WarGames team taking on a group of heels.
While it seems that The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed may have already recruited Logan Paul to their side, CM Punk needs to start recruiting some babyfaces to join his team soon.
Here are six WWE stars that could join CM Punk’s Survivor Series WarGames team.
6. Penta

While he has yet to make an appearance in a WarGames match in WWE, Penta would certainly be an intriguing choice for CM Punk.
It makes sense to recruit a member to your group for the dangerous match who has “cero miedo,” and Penta is certainly no stranger to CM Punk.
Having tangled in the past in AEW, Punk was recently spotted getting a strut lesson from Penta at a house show in a fun moment shared also with LA Knight.
Definitely making a fun addition to the WarGames match, Penta would be a solid contributor of thrilling spots in the match.

5. The Usos

CM Punk doesn’t necessarily have a lot of allies in WWE, so it seems as though he is left with no choice but to trust The Usos ahead of Survivor Series WarGames.
Despite Jey’s suspicious behavior as of late, it does seem as though CM Punk’s best bet is still to align with both Jimmy and Jey Uso.
Having shared hatred for The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, The Usos seems like a solid choice for Punk.
With reports that Roman Reigns could also be a member of the team, it seems highly unlikely that Punk could recruit Reigns without also having the support of The Usos.

4. Roman Reigns

Reportedly, Roman Reigns will be on CM Punk’s team for WWE Survivor Series WarGames although it isn’t exactly clear how the story is set to get from point A to B.
Roman did seemingly admonish The Usos after Reigns’ loss against Bronson Reed at Crown Jewel with a very specific statement – telling them he didn’t want to see them “until Christmas.”
Possibly setting up a scenario where it’s a mystery until the last minute whether or not Roman will actually pull through for his cousins and CM Punk – in the end it would make sense to see the Original Tribal Chief back in action to punish The Vision.
Definitely set to be back in the near future, it would make sense to see Roman Reigns make a surprise appearance to join the babyfaces in the end.

3. Austin Theory

Since being out of action this past summer, it could be that WWE fans are on the verge of seeing a return from Austin Theory.
While original reports slated Theory to join forces with The Vision-led WarGames team with Seth Rollins, Bron Breaker, Bronson Reed and Brock Lesnar, obviously things have changed due to Rollins’ injury.
With a rotation in the lineups, it could be that there could be creative direction changes for the individuals involved as well which could see Theory’s return flip from being heel to babyface.
Since he has long simmering tension with former A-Town Down Under tag team partner Grayson Waller, it certainly seemed as though Theory could return as a babyface. Potentially still making his way into the match but taking the final spot in Team CM Punk, Theory could still have a big return in 2025.

2. LA Knight

A fan favorite star that is rumored to be set for the WarGames match on behalf of the babyface CM Punk team is LA Knight.
After being left out of the World Heavyweight Championship match at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Knight could potentially use his participation in the match to secure himself a future title shot.
While Knight wouldn’t necessarily have any specific reason to help out Punk, he could prove to be so annoyed by The Vision or Logan Paul that it makes sense in the long run.
With Knight still very much on a quest to capture the gold for himself, perhaps it will prove to be the shaky alliances within the WarGames match that ends up finally turning him heel.

1. Finn Balor

A possible recruit for Team CM Punk that would need to make a bit of a character flip to join up with the babyface squad, Finn Balor was recently given a babyface crowd reception on NXT.
While the Judgment Day continues as a group, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh have lost their WWE World Tag Team Championship.
Possibly looking to break away in the near future, Balor turning babyface would make sense at this stage in his career.
Able to go on a solid run as a singles star yet again, Balor could use the WarGames match to launch a babyface turn by aligning with Punk.
