While WrestleMania 41 weekend seems wrapped up, WWE NXT is still live from Las Vegas and set to host its own post-Mania episode.

With several NXT stars in Stephanie Vaquer, Roxanne Perez and Giulia all making appearances on the WWE Raw after WrestleMania, we could be set for some surprises on NXT as well.

Here are eight potential WWE NXT debuts that could be coming soon.

8. The IIconics

Former WWE stars the IIconics

The IInspiration (Cassie Lee & Jessica McKay) teamed together for the first time in three years for a WrestleMania weekend match in Vegas.

Their reunion went well with the pair of former main roster stars defeating Kylie Rae & Nicole Matthews at Prestige’s Nothing to Lose event.

While the pair took some time away from wrestling to start families – each having children – they are seemingly back in action and ready to rumble.

While it would be both ‘IInspirational’ and ‘IIconic’ to see this pair return to the main roster, they could be a better fit to re-debut in NXT, where they first gained popularity several years ago.

7. Zayda Steel

WWE ID signing Zayda Steel

A standout star from the WWE ID program, Zayda Steel could definitely be one recruit who ends up in NXT sooner rather than later.

Collecting a following on the independent wrestling circuit, Steel has already gained a substantial fan following.

She recently put on an impressive albeit losing effort in the ID Championship Tournament against another WWE ID recruit, Kylie Rae.

Boasting previous experience in MLW as well as Marigold in Japan, Steel is clearly a star on the rise.

WWE Bloodline fans continue to patiently await the arrival of another member of the wrestling family – Hikuleo.

In July 2024, it was confirmed that former NJPW Strong Tag Team Champion Hikuleo had signed with WWE, but he has still yet to debut.

In the interim it has been reported that Hikuleo would likely debut in NXT rather than skip to the main roster.

The son of Haku is billed at being 6’8″ and over 260 pounds, making him a potential challenger to even the biggest NXT stars.

5. Man Like Dereiss

After the recent WWE UK & European tour included tryouts, one talent that reportedly stood out from the pack was Man Like Dereiss.

With his charismatic personality and fun entrance where he raps, he is becoming a fan favorite within independent wrestling.

However, it has recently been noted that he has interest from both WWE and TNA Wrestling, so it would seem he could be poised for a debut soon.

As NXT continues to build its portfolio of top talent from around the world, Man Like Dereiss might be next.

4. Octagon Jr

WWE recently announced that it has acquired the Mexico based promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide.

One AAA star that seems likely to debut at NXT at some point is Octagon Jr – currently being portrayed by Golden Magic.

The Octagon Jr name has been used three times in AAA with the original being the former WWE star Kalisto and then Flamita before being used as Golden Magic’s moniker at present.

Debuting in 2010, he already has a long history in promotions throughout Mexico that would surely bring thrills to NXT.

3. Danhausen

AEW star Danhausen

While it remains unclear why he has disappeared from AEW TV, perhaps Danhausen will be the next name called off the bench by WWE.

The ‘Very Nice, Very Evil’ star hasn’t competed in any AEW matches since December 2023 with his next (and so far only) appearance for a Tony Khan owned company since then occurring at Ring of Honor Final Battle in December 2024.

Seemingly still very popular with fans and appearing at independent wrestling events worldwide, Danhausen seems to still be as engaged as ever with the pro-wrestling community.

Perhaps better suited for WWE, NXT could be the perfect place for Danhausen to make his return to TV and continue to delight audiences both young and old.

2. Kylie Rae

One stand out from the WWE ID program that seems likely to debut on NXT TV soon is Kylie Rae.

Winning in the first round of the WWE ID tournament, Rae is showing no signs of slowing down.

Already well-known in professional wrestling, she seems poised to make an immediate impact upon her arrival in WWE.

With valuable experience to contribute to the women’s locker room, an impressive resumé like Kylie Rae’s would fit in with the depth of the current NXT women’s division.

1. Vikingo

Another AAA star seemingly poised for a WWE in-ring debut is Vikingo after he made an appearance at WrestleMania 41 in support of Rey Fenix.

Already boasting big appearances across AAA and TNA, as well as AEW and ROH, Vikingo has yet to have a match for WWE.

Known for his exciting style, he already has a five-star outing on record from Dave Meltzer after a 2023 match against Kenny Omega on AEW Dynamite.

While he could be likely to debut on the main roster instead of NXT, it would still be great to see him make magic at the upcoming NXT x AAA crossover show, Worlds Collide on June 7 in Los Angeles.
