The Rock remains central to WWE storylines, and he may be looking to recruit his own group to rule in his absence.
The Rock himself only appears rarely, but if he has a group outright doing his bidding, it might make it a lot easier to thread his appearances and stories together.
Here are six stars that could join The Rock in a new WWE faction.
6. Drew McIntyre

The storylines in WWE often overlap, and despite truly hating the Bloodline, Drew McIntyre has a great relationship with The Rock.
After an interaction between the pair backstage at the WWE Raw on Netflix debut episode got a lot of attention, McIntyre has since recalled the pair had a positive check-in backstage at Elimination Chamber.
With McIntyre starring in a new ad campaign for Johnson’s Project Rock line for Under Armour, the partnership doesn’t seem to be ending any time soon.
McIntyre would be the perfect recruit for The Rock to snag for a new faction since he continues to demonstrate his propensity for violence and facetiousness – just like The Final Boss.

5. Jacob Fatu

If anyone from the Bloodline group would make sense to actually end up teaming with The Rock, it would be Jacob Fatu.
The Samoan Werewolf just captured his first WWE singles title at WrestleMania 41 by beating LA Knight for the United States Championship, but it is unlikely he will be slowing down any time soon.
Since his character has already been gaining fan support, The Rock could offer Fatu the chance to be showcased as his personal enforcer. Similarly to how Solo Sikoa was groomed to emulate Roman Reigns, the story would make it clear that Rock was trying to mold Fatu in his image.
There could be a bunch of amusing backstage segments filmed in advance by Rock with Fatu to keep him fresh in fans’ minds throughout the weeks.

4. Jeff Cobb

While there hasn’t been any confirmation that Cobb is connected to The Rock, many fans have speculated that to be the case.
After The Rock posted an Instagram story that featured him wearing a NJPW shirt at the same time as Cobb announcing his departure from the promotion, fans started theorizing that there could be a connection – and there could be more weight to it given their Hawaiian lineages.
With recent reports that Cobb has signed with WWE, it would seemingly be a good fit for the hard hitting veteran to join The Rock.
Adding muscle to the group, Cobb could play his character as deranged and violent as he wants given that he will be brand new to much of the WWE audience.

3. Seth Rollins

What is clear is that Seth Rollins is building his own stable around himself and Paul Heyman, but some fans have questioned whether The Rock has something to do with it.
Despite those theories, no such thing has been confirmed as of yet.
However, if it was to be revealed in the future that Rollins has been working for The Rock all along but was keeping it hidden from everyone until the time was right, there are ways it could be tied together.
With Rollins being instrumental in John Cena’s Elimination Chamber win, there are enough seends that have been planted in case WWE wants to go this route.

2. Gallus

After WWE NXT trio Gallus – Wolfgang, Joe Coffey and Mark Coffey – helped to train with The Rock ahead of his WrestleMania 40 tag team match, the Final Boss shouted out the stars on Instagram.
Thanking them for their work with him, he also made note that he would be seeing them again down the road.
With the Gallus boys notably being able to fall in nicely with Drew McIntyre, The Rock could quickly establish a dominant four-man faction of violent former champions to do his bidding.
Although perhaps the ultimate snag for The Rock to get for his faction would from his own Bloodline…

1. Roman Reigns

While there may be a potential WWE showdown between The Rock and Roman Reigns in the ring still ahead, at least for now, Reigns is again a Chief without a Tribe.
Seemingly making up on an interpersonal level as a character with Jimmy & Jey Uso and Sami Zayn, it isn’t as though Reigns has current ‘friends’ he can rely on.
However, aligning with The Rock – even if he ends up being betrayed by the Final Boss in the end – may make sense in the short term.
Especially if The Rock’s faction would going up against Seth Rollins‘ new group – currently only consisting of Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker – Roman Reigns’ unbridled rage towards Rollins would be beneficial.
