While Stephanie McMahon remains the only currently announced inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame 2026, there are certainly more coming soon.
From potentially newly retired stars joining the list immediately to other posthumous inductions that are long overdue, there are several intriguing choices left to be considered for this year’s group.
Here are six new WWE Hall of Fame 2026 inductees that could join this year’s group.
6. AJ Styles

Although there remains a bit of mystery regarding what is next in professional wrestling for AJ Styles, it could be that he is truly done.
With Styles picking up a big loss at the Royal Rumble and thereby marking the end of his WWE career, time will tell if the veteran star will end up appearing elsewhere.
For now though, while it seems that Styles has wrapped up his in-ring career, there could still be another big appearance on the horizon.
Potentially setting Styles up well for an induction into the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame in the coming months, it could be that we don’t see the last of AJ Styles just yet.

5. William Regal

A surprising current omission from the WWE Hall of Fame is that of William Regal.
With an extensive in-ring career as well as influential role as on-screen GM in NXT, perhaps now is the time for his induction.
Following a short exit from WWE and AEW run in 2022, he would ultimately return as the company’s Vice President of Global Development. Contributing to some of WWE#s biggest moments on-screen and backstage, Regal is a definite induction to the WWE Hall of Fame at some point.
Able to join the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026, William Regal has a legendary career that would be solid to highlight alongside the other only announced induction so far, Stephanie McMahon.

4. Fit Finlay

While not as visible as other major behind the scenes players in WWE, Fit Finlay remains an influential legend.
A behind the scenes force in NXT, Fit Finlay is a surprising name that has yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
From his legendary in-ring career to copious contributions over the years backstage, including in roles as producer and coach, Finlay would be a worthy choice.
Able to reference his time as an in-ring performer as well as helping to shape so many of today’s most popular stars, the honor would be the perfect way to acknowledge his impressive career.

3. Demolition

In an induction that was anticipated to happen last year, it could be finally time for one formative tag team to make their entrance in the WWE Hall of Fame.
Last February, it was reported that three-time WWE Tag Team Champions Demolition has signed on for Legends deals with WWE.
With the duo of Ax and Smash noted by fans as a top tag team of the 1980s, the pair could be headed for a future WWE Hall of Fame induction.
Having contributed to foundations of tag team wrestling in the era and beyond, Demolition could certainly get the nod soon.

2. Chyna

Although Chyna already is technically inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame along with the rest of D-Generation X, she remains worthy of her own entry.
With both Shawn Michaels and Triple H boasting their own individual entries into the WWE Hall of Fame – with inductions in 2011 and 2025 respectively – it may be time for Chyna to join on her own as well.
After reshaping what it meant to be a woman in WWE during the Attitude Era, Chyna inspired a brand new set of fans to rethink what was possible for women in the sport. Becoming the first and only female to win the Intercontinental Championship in 1999, she broke barriers over two decades ago.
With Triple H having publicly commented in the past that Chyna will “definitely” receive her own induction into the WWE Hall of Fame, perhaps 2026 is the year.

1. Batista

After previously being announced as a headline star in the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2020, Batista has failed to make a return for an induction after the pandemic prevented WWE from holding the Hall of Fame ceremony that year.
The company then combined the class of 2020 with the class of 2021 for that year’s Hall, but with Batista unable to participate given his busy Hollywood schedule, he was omitted.
Able to be inducted by the likes of Triple H or Randy Orton amongst others, it could be that the Class of 2026 is the perfect time to see the return of Batista.
