WWE AAA stars to compete in the John Cena Classic: Four names from Mexico to take part in the December 14 Raw

On the November 2 edition of WWE Raw, John Cena officially announced the John Cena Classic for the December 14 episode from Disney World.

Then on the November 4 WWE NXT, Cena invited Zilla Fatu to join Cody Rhodes as the first stars to take part in this special night.

With Worlds Collide announced at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex the day following, there could be some Lucha Libre AAA talent involved in the John Cena Classic as well.

Here are four WWE AAA stars to potentially compete in the John Cena Classic.

Mr. Iguana

When WWE first acquired AAA, it was Mr. Iguana who became the first breakout star at the Worlds Collide 2025 event.

Becoming a popular star for the Mexican promotion, Iguana was able to appear on WWE TV several times.

Considering his appeal to the United States audience, it would make sense if Iguana would take part in the John Cena Classic.

Featuring Iguana would make sense and allow AAA to be highlighted on the December 14 WWE Raw.

La Parka

Speaking of Mr. Iguana, his best friend on the Lucha Libre AAA roster is La Parka.

Over the past year, Parka has risen the ranks and become one of the most prominent stars in AAA.

Then at AAA Ola de Calor, Parka defeated El Fiscal, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Damian Priest to become the new AAA Latin American Champion.

Parka has everything it takes to be a standout in the John Cena Classic if chosen to take part.

Omos

Since arriving in Lucha Libre AAA, Omos has been a force to be reckoned with and found more success in the promotion than he had in WWE.

“The Nigerian Giant” is a two-time Copa Bardahl winner and one of the main stars in the El Ojo stable.

Then at AAA TripleMania 34 Night One, Omos defeated Rey Mysterio in the biggest win of his career.

Omos being highlighted in the John Cena Classic would be a smart move to feature the big man on a significant stage.

El Grande Americano

At AAA TripleMania 34 Night Two, El Grande Americano defeated Dominik Mysterio to win the AAA Mega Championship.

It has become clear over the course of 2026 that Americano is the biggest babyface on the AAA roster.

While he has been featured on WWE TV, Americano has been mostly focused on AAA in recent months.

With top talent and rising stars featured in the John Cena Classic, it would be logical to give a spotlight to the top star in AAA with El Grande getting a spot on the December 14 WWE Raw.
