On the November 4 episode of WWE NXT, Grayson Waller defeated CM Punk to retain the NXT Championship.
This proved to be the biggest win of Waller’s entire career after taking the victory over a former multi-time WWE Champion.
Coming off the heels of this win, Waller could face even more main roster talent in the near future.
Here are four more WWE Raw and SmackDown stars to potentially challenge Grayson Waller for the NXT Championship.
LA Knight

At WWE Money In The Bank 2026, Roman Reigns defeated LA Knight to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.
Since suffering this loss, Knight has been mostly absent from WWE programming in the past few weeks after the event.
During his time on WWE NXT, Knight had a memorable rivalry with Grayson Waller.
Rekindling this feud and looking to win some gold, “The Megastar” could challenge Waller for the NXT Championship in the near future.
Austin Theory
Prior to returning to WWE NXT, Grayson Waller was in a long-term partnership with Austin Theory.
Known as A Town Down Under, Waller and Theory were able to become the WWE Tag Team Champions.
However, the duo had a falling out after Theory suffered an injury that led to Waller joining forces with The New Day and eventually returning to NXT.
With Theory now in The Vision stable, it would make sense for him to return to NXT to challenge Waller, wanting to bring his title to his faction on Monday Night Raw.
Chad Gable

On the November 4 edition of WWE NXT, Chad Gable, Dragon Lee and Rey Fenix defeated The Vanity Project.
This win followed Gable losing the WWE Intercontinental Championship to Ethan Page on the November 2 Raw.
The former Olympian has been on a quest to right the wrongs of his career since losing the Mask vs. Mask Match to El Grande Americano earlier this year.
Gable returning to NXT to challenge Grayson Waller for the top prize on the brand that he never won before would be fitting for his story over this past year.
Kevin Owens
Grayson Waller was able to retain the NXT Championship against CM Punk thanks to interference from Kevin Owens.
This further added even more heat to the upcoming No Holds Barred Match between Punk and Owens.
However, it could also open the door for Owens to make his own in-ring return to NXT down the line.
KO challenging Waller for the NXT Championship would give the brand a returning champion to add even more prestige to this reign for “The Aussie Icon.”
