On Thursday, January 15, TNA Wrestling will premiere Impact on the AMC Network for the first time.
This marks a significant change and the start of a new era for TNA that will put their product in front of more fans than they have been in the past decade.
With this huge debut on AMC coming up, the company would be wise to embrace their past by having various legends make their return to the promotion for this special evening.
Here are eight TNA Wrestling legends to potentially return at IMPACT AMC Network debut.
8. LA Knight
LA Knight is one of the most popular stars on the entire WWE roster and has been climbing the ladder since signing with the company back in 2021.
Prior to this stint with WWE, Knight really earned a name for himself with TNA Wrestling as Eli Drake.
Adopting a lot of the catchphrases and mannerisms that have become famous in WWE, Knight’s run in TNA saw him reach the mountaintop and win the world championship, becoming a top star for the promotion.
With TNA Wrestling having such a huge event with their AMC Network debut, it would be fitting to see Knight return to mark the occasion, utilizing their WWE partnership to showcase a legendary star in their company’s history.

7. Mickie James
It is crazy to think that Mickie James has probably as much or more time in TNA Wrestling than she has with WWE.
Across three runs with the company, James has crafted a legacy of her own with TNA as one of the biggest female stars to step foot in their ring.
The five-time TNA Knockouts World Champion would be a welcomed surprise if she chose to make her comeback at the January 15 AMC Network debut.
Mickie could show up as a guest star or maybe issue a challenge to current Knockouts World Champion Lei Ying Lee, but she would add some star power to the evening from Garland, Texas.

6. Amazing Red
Amazing Red is recognized as one of the best X-Division wrestlers to ever step foot in a TNA Wrestling ring.
Over the past few years, Red has been passing off his knowledge as a trainer in New York City at the House of Glory gym. Along the way, he has also garnered some proteges that have learned from him as well.
One of Red’s proteges is current TNA Wrestling star Mike Santana. On the January 15 TNA Thursday Night IMPACT premiere on AMC, Santana will challenge Frankie Kazarian for the TNA World Title.
Looking to provide guidance and root on his friend to victory, Amazing Red could make his return in the corner of Santana and help him to get back the TNA World Championship on January 15.

5. James Storm
Dating back to the start of TNA Wrestling in 2002, James Storm was a cornerstone of the company.
Starting with his America’s Most Wanted tag team with Chris Harris, Storm established himself as a reliable and dependable performer for the company.
Storm is a former TNA World Champion and an impressive seven-time TNA World Tag Team Champion.
Having accomplished so much for the company, Storm could show up for this massive evening that will go down in TNA Wrestling history.

4. Bobby Roode
Speaking of James Storm, America’s Most Wanted might not be the most famous tag team he was part of during his run with TNA Wrestling.
That honor should go to Beer Money, which paired Storm with Bobby Roode. This duo dominated the TNA tag team scene and led to both men winning the top prize in the promotion.
Nowadays, Roode is working for WWE as a backstage producer after his in-ring career came to an abrupt and quiet end a few years back.
Roode making a surprise appearance would see one of the most iconic stars in TNA Wrestling history showing up to celebrate a landmark night for the company.

3. Abyss
Another WWE backstage producer who had a crucial role for TNA Wrestling across their 23-year history is Abyss.
Joseph Park has worked with WWE over the past several years and can even be seen during season one of the Unreal docu-series.
During his heyday, Park, then known as Abyss, was the most feared monster in TNA Wrestling and a multi-time world champion.
All these years later, it would be a nice treat for longtime fans to see Park adorn his Abyss mask for the first time in years to celebrate TNA Wrestling’s big night on AMC Network.

2. Kurt Angle
There is no doubt that the biggest free agent signing in TNA Wrestling history was Kurt Angle.
Coming from the heights of his run in WWE, Angle caused a systemic shift that saw TNA Wrestling grab the attention of the wrestling world in a significant way.
The six-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion left his mark on the company and put on some of the greatest matches in company history.
After leaving TNA back in 2016, it would feel like a full circle moment a decade later to see Angle appear to celebrate the company’s new broadcasting home of Thursday Night IMPACT.

1. AJ Styles
Back at TNA Slammiversary 2025, AJ Styles made his return to the company for the first time since 2014.
Endorsing Leon Slater as the future of the company, Styles’ presence led to a record breaking night for the promotion and many fans wondering if they will see “The Phenomenal One” ever wrestle in a TNA ring again.
With recent reports indicating that TNA Wrestling would like to see Styles wrestle in the company again, Styles could be in line for a surprise impromptu match on January 15.
Styles returning and being thrusted into a showdown with someone on the roster would be a shocking moment that fans will never forget and help to make the TNA Impact AMC Network debut an even more special evening for everyone.
