As WWE heads towards Survivor Series season and eventually onto the road to WrestleMania, some title changes may be needed in order to keep things fresh.
Fortunately, WWE has a long list of new champions they could crown, so let us not waste any time and see who has the best chances of calling themselves a champion in WWE soon.
Here are the potential next winners of every WWE championship:
WWE United States Championship: Santos Escobar

Santos Escobar reportedly just signed a new lucrative deal with WWE after very briefly departing the company at the end of his prior contract.
Certainly, this suggests that WWE has big plans for Escobar, and what a statement it would be if he knocks newly crowned United States Champion Ilja Dragunov, out of his socks – making Escobar a massive heat magnet.
Yes, the Mad Dragon is a generational talent that just returned, but he has been out for a really long time, and Sami Zayn was not prepared for him, much like Dragunov may not be prepared for Escobar.
Dragunov attempting to redeem his loss could also see the people get behind him in an even bigger way, before he eventually recaptures the gold.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Sheamus

Dominik Mysterio does not seem to be dropping the Intercontinental Championship anytime soon. However, next year at WrestleMania might be the time to finally pull the trigger on Sheamus winning his last missing championship in WWE.
Next year’s WrestleMania, as ever, will signal a new era for the company yet again, with it being the first without John Cena being in the active roster, while AJ Styles is also preparing to ride into the sunset.
While they are in desperate need to bank on new stars, a few spots on the card should highlight that there are still strong legends left.
This is why it is important to highlight Sheamus as one of those, giving the Irishman a long overdue IC Title win on a huge stage.

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Maxxine Dupri

Maxxine Dupri is currently embroiled in a feud with Becky Lynch, with “The Man” doing everything in her power to avoid what she would deem to be an embarrassing loss to the less experienced challenger.
During the course of the feud Dupri has shown that she has improved massively between the ropes, and she seems to be on the verge of breaking out.
For now however, it may be better for Becky Lynch to feud with other talented women, such as AJ Lee, who seems set to resume her rivalry with Lynch soon.
But when the time is right, come back to this and shock the world by putting the championship of Dupri for MAXXimum effect!

WWE World Tag Team Championship: Darkstate

AJ Styles and Dragon Lee only just won the World Tag Team Championships on this past Monday’s WWE Raw.
While this team and their run are fresh, them holding gold for too long can not be expected. This raises the question: Who’s next?
Sadly, looking at Raw’s Tag Team Division, the options seem fewer than you think. While Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker could be chosen, it still seems as if they may have bigger fish to fry in the main event scene.
WWE NXT’s Darkstate may seem like an outside the box choice, but having already captured NXT Tag Title gold they may soon get a chance to take that next step on the main roster.

WWE Tag Team Championship: MFT

Triple H kinda booked himself into a corner here.
MFT is now in full force and should not lose their first major match back, but one would think WWE would want to continue the Wyatt Sicks’ domination of the SmackDown tag division also.
Unfortunately for Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis, there seems to be no way around a loss of their gold to the MFTs. But this is just the start of their feud.
It does not mean that this will be the only clash between the two mega factions on SmackDown, so perhaps the Wyatts will get their gold back before long.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Fatal Influence

After another title defence of Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, you begin to ask: What is next?
Unquestionably, you can not have these two mega stars lose the championships to just anyone, instead the loss could be use to build some of the women’s division’s next top talent.
This is where you insert NXT’s most prominent female group: Fatal Influence. It could be time for Fallon Henley, Jacy Jayne and the newly added Lainey Reid to be called up to the main roster.
It would be a statement win for them to beat Flair and Bliss, and there is no better option right here, right now.

WWE Women’s United States Championship: Jade Cargill

Much like her predecessor Zelina Vega, the championship run of Guilia is not really clicking with the audience.
As unfortunate as that is, it might be time to switch things up and put the belt of Jade Cargill instead.
Definitely, Giulia is a great performer, and Jade Cargill is going to try hard to get the momentum back on her side on the SmackDown roster. Ultimately, this shift just might be exactly what both women need.
While Cargill has turned heel and is on the verge of challenging Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship once again, it may not be her who is set to end “Tiffy Time” after all…

WWE Women’s Championship: Chelsea Green

I know what you are thinking. Chelsea Green is not a main event player. Why should she end the almost year-long reign of Tiffany Stratton?
Well, there are multiple reasons for that. Firstly, Tiffany Stratton has beaten almost everyone there is available on the blue brand.
Secondly, with the success of her allegiance with NXT North American Champion Ethan Page in NXT, there has been reports that WWE is interested in introducing the act to main roster TV, making the Green Regime even bigger.
Thirdly, this, mixed with Stratton’s growing lack of focus, might help Green to find an opening for a shocking title change, one that could come after Stratton successfully fends off Jade Cargill at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

WWE Women’s World Championship: Asuka

Stephanie Vaquer vs. Asuka is an absolute dream match that must happen some time soon. That alone should be reason enough, but that does not explain why the championship should change hands eventually, right?
Well, Vaquer’s rise to the top was extremely fast. She does not really know failure…until now!
Insert Asuka! The reality check every champion in WWE needs, and the one that might be too much for La Primera, for now.
One thing is for sure: this championship is one of the very few where WWE actually has real options, with Raw’s female talent pool vast.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Bron Breakker

Yes, it is being reported that WWE do not want Bron Breakker to win the vacant World Heavyweight Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event, with that moment planned for a bigger stage later down the line.
However, with many fans displeased with Jey Uso booking his spot in that title match, perhaps WWE could change course.
Jey Uso and CM Punk could both get speared by Breakker during the match, making it a no contest, or better yet, Paul Heyman could use his powers of persuasion to insert Bron into the bout, making it a three-way.
This may require going over Adam Pearce’s head, but the fact is: Bron Breakker is the man for the future. The iron is hot; it is time to strike. There is not much left to say here. *Bark*

WWE Championship: Sami Zayn

Cody Rhodes is sitting firmly on top of the entire company as the Undisputed WWE Champion, however, this second run as champion has not quite clicked in the same way as much of his first.
His feud with Drew McIntyre does not seem to click, while entertaining, feels like a bit of a foregone conclusion with Cody unlikely to drop his title to the Scotsman.
It may be time to change some things and finally do what Sami Zayn has worked all his life for: win the big one.
Whether this requires Sami Zayn to finally turn heel or not, we will see. All he needs is one Helluva Kick.
