With concern Nikki Bella could potentially have suffered an injury on WWE SmackDown, there could need to be changes made to WrestleMania 42.
It seemed as if Nikki and her sister Brie were being primed to compete for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at “The Grandest Stage of Them All,” but if Nikki is indeed injured then Brie may need to find someone to take her place.
Here are six WWE stars that could potentially team with Brie Bella in the event Nikki Bella is out of action for WrestleMania 42.
6. Tiffany Stratton
With Nikki Bella seemingly injured on this past Friday’s SmackDown, there may need to be a switch-up in an anticipated WrestleMania 42 match.
Since Tiffany Stratton remains without a match at WrestleMania 42, it could end up being an enjoyable swerve to see Stratton plugged in.
Able to join forces with Brie Bella and still capture the energy of the Bella Twins, Tiffany Stratton could find herself as the perfect third Bella for a bout.
While it seems more likely that Giulia and the Women’s United States Championship could end up running into Tiffany Stratton in Las Vegas, there is still time for an alternate plan to come together.
5. Paige
If Nikki Bella needed to be replaced in the anticipated big WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship showdown at WrestleMania 42, there could be the perfect understudy waiting in the wings.
Perhaps bringing about the perfect reason for a surprise return of fellow Total Divas alum Paige (aka Saraya), there could be a great reunion to salvage the bout.
With fans continuing to wonder if Paige will be the next “Divas Era” star to return after the likes of AJ Lee and The Bella Twins have made big moments back in WWE, the time may now be right for the company to make it happen.
Able to fill in seamlessly in a multi-woman tag team battle, it could be the perfect launching pad for the return of Paige.
4. Roxanne Perez
Roxanne Perez has been out of action since having a benign mass removed from her back, a procedure that has kept her out of in-ring competition.
In the time since she was last on-screen, there have certainly been big changes in The Judgment Day including the group ousting Finn Balor.
Potentially able to return to a fresh start if she too were cast aside by the rest of the Clubhouse, Roxanne Perez could chase babyface redemption over on SmackDown.
Able to lean into a rebrand focused on WWE’s smallest fans, Perez could benefit from the boost of fan support enjoyed by subbing in for Nikki Bella.

3. Chelsea Green
One unlikely but perfect replacement for Nikki Bella in the presumed multi-team match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship could be Chelsea Green.
Despite the fact that The Bella Twins are currently being presented as babyface stars, there could be an amazing partnership with Chelsea Green on the cards.
With Green’s veteran in-ring skills not able to be discounted, her ability to be wildly entertaining is also an added benefit for the bout.
Definitely able to capture the essence of Nikki Bella through a detailed cosplay portrayal, it could be a lot of fun to eventually see a tag team battle between Alba Fyre & Chelsea Green and The Bella Twins when their alliance falls apart.
2. Maxxine Dupri
After having her most successful WWE run thus far in recent months, Maxxine Dupri has now hit a crisis of confidence and is yet to have a match confirmed for WrestleMania 42 weekend.
With Nattie seemingly wrapping up their feud in decisive fashion on the March 23 episode of WWE Raw, Dupri could end up being the perfect sub-in for a potentially injured Nikki Bella.
Able to capture the energy and spirit of The Bella Twins, Maxxine Dupri has definitely made her adoration for the WWE Hall of Famers clear over the years.
Joining forces with Brie to attempt to bring home the first Bella Twins victory of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship could be an amazing moment for the Bella Army and Dupri’s Cinderella story in the company.
1. IYO SKY
One top name in the WWE women’s division that has yet to see a storyline come together for WrestleMania 42 is IYO SKY.
While she has recently held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Rhea Ripley, perhaps if Brie Bella were to need a partner, SKY could be an option.
Able to unite as babyfaces beloved by fans, SKY could bring a brand new element to the bout.
Particularly holding an important role in the event the Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) are in the presumed multi-team match as well, IYO SKY could end up having a role in convincing Kairi Sane to leave Asuka’s side.
