On the November 13 edition of Impact, Mike Santana appeared as TNA Wrestling World Champion for the first time on TV and defended his title against Ryan Nemeth.
However, a group of NXT stars led by Robert Stone attacked both men, leading to Frankie Kazarian cashing in his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy to defeat Santana and win the TNA World Title.
Following this win, it should be interesting who the company decides to crown as the next TNA World Champion following Kazarian finally capturing the gold.
Here are seven potential next TNA Wrestling World Champions.
7. Mike Santana
At TNA Bound For Glory 2025, Mike Santana defeated Trick Williams to win the TNA World Championship.
This victory felt like the promotion had finally found its next top guy for the future in Santana. However, this reign ended quite abruptly.
After only 32 days as champion, Frankie Kazarian defeated Santana to win the top prize in TNA Wrestling on the November 13 Impact.
It seems that the company is attempting to recreate the Josh Alexander story from three years ago with Santana by having him chase Kazarian before eventually winning back the TNA World Title.

6. Nic Nemeth
In 2024, Nic Nemeth captured the TNA World Championship for the first time in his career and held the title for 183 days.
Back at TNA Bound For Glory 2025, Nemeth and Frankie Kazarian both won the Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy that earned them a shot at any title of their choosing for up to one year.
It was Kazarian who used the trophy first to win the TNA World Title from Mike Santana on the November 13 edition of IMPACT.
Nemeth still owns the trophy and could potentially cash it in on Kazarian to become a two-time TNA World Champion sooner rather than later.

5. Moose
Recently, TNA Wrestling fans have seen The System led by Moose turn babyface for the first time since forming.
Moose is someone who has become a flagbearer for TNA Wrestling and consistently represented the company to the best of his abilities.
The three-time TNA World Champion could be thrusted back into a major role in the company by having him be the one to take down Frankie Kazarian to win the top prize in the promotion.
After standing on the frontline of the company against the threat of WWE NXT, Moose could become ‘The Face of the Franchise’ once more by beating Kazarian to win the TNA World Championship for the fourth time.

4. Steve Maclin
Another former TNA World Champion who might be in line for another shot at the title is Steve Maclin.
At TNA Bound For Glory 2025, Maclin defeated Frankie Kazarian to become a two-time TNA International Champion.
Wanting to represent the company at the frontline again, Maclin could regain the top prize in TNA Wrestling for a second time.
Maclin seems like someone who has everything it takes to once again defeat Kazarian and win the TNA World Championship once again.

3. AJ Francis
When looking at the TNA Wrestling roster, AJ Francis is someone who has made it crystal clear that he has his sights set on the top prize in the company.
After climbing the ladder for the past two years, Francis feels well equipped to reach the mountaintop in TNA Wrestling in the months to come.
The former Top Dolla is one of the top heels in the promotion and could make for a formidable champion due to his size and athleticism.
Becoming a first time world champion, Francis could hit the Down Payment on Frankie Kazarian and become a large obstacle for everyone else on the TNA Wrestling roster.

2. Mustafa Ali
Another TNA Wrestling star who has his sights directed onto the TNA World Championship is Mustafa Ali.
The former X-Division Champion staked his claim to an opportunity at the top prize in the company since returning in January 2025.
After months of waiting, now might be the perfect time for Ali to get his first opportunity at the TNA World Championship.
With Order 4 by his side, Ali could be the right individual to dethrone Frankie Kazarian and have the backup necessary to hold on to the TNA World Title for a long time.

1. Leon Slater
Back at TNA Slammiversary 2025, Leon Slater defeated Moose to become the youngest TNA X-Division Champion of all time.
At just 21 years old, ‘The Youngest In Charge’ feels like the star that the company is preparing to launch to superstardom as a future face of the entire promotion.
Slater’s speed, athleticism and agility make him a threat to defeat any competitor, including the reigning TNA World Champion Frankie Kazarian.
After losing to the reigning titleholder earlier this year, Slater could be poised to avenge this loss by defeating Kazarian for the TNA World Title and becoming the youngest world champion in company history as well.
