With WWE SmackDown star Chelsea Green joining up with NXT North American Champion Ethan Page, there could be more cross-brand partnerships coming soon.
From more connections based on country of origin to others that might make the perfect addition to a growing number of mixed tag teams on the roster, there could be some exciting new partnerships ahead.
Here are eight more WWE main roster and NXT tag team combinations that could be amazing.
8. Rhea Ripley & ZARIA

In a combination of frightening forces, there could be a powerful Aussie alliance coming between ZARIA and Rhea Ripley.
With both characters in need of a bit of a reinvention of their previous brutal & ferocious nature, perhaps connecting with ZARIA could reinvigorate Ripley.
Currently ZARIA is at a point of flux for her character as well with partner Sol Ruca out of action with injury but ZARIA seemingly still looking to capture the WWE Speed Championship that was vacated by her pal Sol.
With a potential for both to make a subtle but meaningful shift towards being a more heelish version, spending some time wrecking havoc in NXT could be a major moment for Rhea Ripley as well.

7. Nia Jax & Lash Legend

One alliance across brands that could be coming together sooner rather than later is Nia Jax and Lash Legend.
With Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reporting that the creative plans for the women’s Survivor Series WarGames were a babyface team led by AJ Lee with Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss would be taking on the heel squad of Becky Lynch, Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax & Lash Legend.
With SKY & Ripley actively feuding with the Kabuki Warriors’ Asuka & Kairi Sane, it seems that the last set of foes could be poised to start their own feud soon.
Potentially joining forces to challenge the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, it could be that Nia Jax and Lash Legend will be revealed as the latest tag team on SmackDown in the near future.

6. Tiffany Stratton & Blake Monroe

Two WWE stars that could seemingly align and immediately make a massive impact would be Tiffany Stratton and Blake Monroe.
With Tiffany Stratton suffering a devastating final loss that ended her 302 day reign as WWE Women’s Champion, it would make sense to see her off TV for a bit.
However, if she were to return to her original stomping grounds of NXT to reclaim her former heel attitude, she could actually end up coming face-to-face with another blonde bombshell with a penchant for violence — Blake Monroe.
Bringing together these two powerhouses could not only be a devastating move for the other women’s tag teams in WWE, their devilish ways combined could end up taking over on WWE Raw or SmackDown.

5. Carmelo Hayes & Kelani Jordan, Trick Williams

A real-life engaged couple that could join the emerging mixed tag team division could be SmackDown’s Carmelo Hayes and TNA Wrestling Knockouts Champion and NXT star, Kelani Jordan.
While Carmelo Hayes has certainly already been united on-screen with Trick Williams in the past, a new trio trio could end up serving an important purpose.
Providing a great foil to CM Punk and AJ Lee, with the numbers advantage the group could also look to take down the last of the Judgment Day or Aleister Black & Zelina Vega in pursuit of future title opportunities for themselves.
Reuniting Trick and Melo on WWE Raw could be good but adding in Kelani Jordan would make it great.

4. Ricky Saints & Cody Rhodes

A fun on-screen alliance at some point in the future would be between NXT Champion Ricky Saints and WWE Undisputed Champion, Cody Rhodes.
With their real life friendship publicly known, it would be amusing to see their real life dynamic blended with their on-screen character’s presentation.
Since Saints could be poised to be the ideal pestering brother figure to Rhodes, their on-screen interactions would be far more fun if they were unserious than if it the duo were meant to be engaged in a furious feud.
Rather an enjoyable combination — akin to Cody’s short stints with Jey Uso — could be a really great partnership down the road.

3. Natalya & Karmen Petrovic

One tag team that makes sense to bring back is the duo of WWE Raw star Natalya and NXT’s resident katana wielding third-degree black belt, Karmen Petrovic.
With the pair already teaming together in the past, it would make complete sense to see their partnership renewed.
Since Petrovic is able to hold her own with Natalya and seem to be a viable threat, the duo could certainly take aim at the NXT women’s tag team division and eventually find themselves across from the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
With the titles still in the hands of Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss, it could be that the combination of Natalya & Karmen could be the ones to topple their reign.

2. Michin & Jaida Parker

A cross brand partnership that would be a viable threat anywhere on the roster would be SmackDown’s Michin linking up with Jaida Parker.
While this duo has actually had a heated rivalry in the past, it could be the foundation for a great partnership.
With each having a gritty and violent nature in the ring to accompany their natural charisma, the pair could be a viable threat to any of the women’s tag teams in WWE.
Potentially creating a new set of opponents for Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, the women’s tag team division could get a boost from the new addition of a few teams.

1. Randy Orton & Charlie Dempsey, Uriah Connors

Back in 2008 Randy Orton led a stable called The Legacy after picking up a tag team of multi-generational talents Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiasse Jr.
Able to replicate a similar group in 2025 and beyond, Orton could recruit two brand new members that fit the same original Legacy criteria in Charlie Dempsey and Uriah Connors in NXT.
While Dempsey (real life son of William Regal) has had some interactions on screen with his famous father, their dynamics and the emotions of the relationship have been kept murky.
Uriah Connors on the other hand has been affiliated with Chase U in NXT without specific storyline acknowledgement of his past acclaim in independent wrestling as Brogan Finlay or that his real life father is Fit Finlay.
