With TNA Wrestling recently invading NXT with such names as former WWE stars Matt Cardona and The Iinspiration, there are likely more to come.
From those with pasts in WWE to others that have been engaged in cross-brand warfare for months, there are some TNA Wrestling stars that seem likely to appear sooner rather than later.
Here are seven more TNA Wrestling stars that are likely to invade WWE.
7. Matt & Jeff Hardy

After making an on-screen appearance at SummerSlam 2025 during the iconic Tables, Ladders & Chairs match – perhaps WWE fans will see more from Matt and Jeff Hardy soon.
With Jeff Hardy making for an incredible potential opponent for the retiring John Cena, there is a more likely scenario that could unravel ahead of the special Invasion edition of NXT on October 7.
In a trios match that could paint the NXT characters as the dastardly heels and have fans technically cheering for Team TNA would be pairing the Hardys with Joe Hendry to take on Dark State.
Since Dark State has continued to have a presence in TNA – including known rivalries with that Hardys and Hendry – there could be at least one cross-promotional match that TNA gets a triumphant victory.

6. Mike Santana

A very logical person to join the invasion of WWE from TNA has already been battling for Team TNA in Mike Santana.
Since Santana already has a TNA Championship match against Trick Williams set for TNA Wrestling Bound For Glory on October 11, it stands to reason he’ll make an appearance in WWE soon.
With a promo vignette that aired during NXT No Mercy, Mike Santana let Trick Williams know that he still had his number.
Seemingly teasing a surprise attack to answer Trick’s recent dastardly surprise, Santana warned Williams that it was “on sight” for when the pair crossed paths again.

5. Joe Hendry

In a fascinating case of someone who could be stuck in between their allegiance between TNA Wrestling and WWE is Joe Hendry.
Despite still being technically under TNA contract, Hendry has been integrating into the NXT roster of characters as well.
While the former TNA Champion has stayed out of the current invasion angle, it is hard to imagine that he wouldn’t be selected by TNA to be on their team.
Alternatively, Hendry might just be entirely absent from the invasion angle and end up unscathed from either side.

4. Mustafa Ali

A former WWE star that could be making a return very soon to the NXT brand is Mustafa Ali.
Appearing in a video message that aired at NXT No Mercy, reportedly Mustafa Ali will be on hand for the September 30 edition of NXT on The CW.
With the crossover storyline continuing, it seems very likely that Ali’s appearance could be related to the upcoming special Invasion event.
Also reportedly set to pop up on the September 30 edition of NXT, Moose who has appeared in the past in a title bout against Oba Femi.

3. Dani Luna

One of the quieter but still impactful moments over the summer was Dani Luna’s big heel turn in TNA Wrestling.
After reigning as two time Knockouts Tag Team Champion with Jody Threat, Luna turned on both Jody and pal Indi Hartwell in a vicious attack.
Launching as a heel, Luna could certainly take out her aggression on any number of the NXT roster members but perhaps taking immediate aim at Kelani Jordan.
After Ash by Elegance vacated the TNA Knockouts Championship, it was won in a subsequent match by NXT’s Jordan.

2. Nic Nemeth

Formerly known as Dolph Ziggler in his long career in WWE, Nic Nemeth has gone on to find success in TNA Wrestling.
Capturing the TNA Wrestling Tag Team Championship with his real life brother Ryan Nemeth, neither appeared in the recent NXT invasion.
However with plenty of unfinished business, perhaps it could be Santino Marella – the TNA Wrestling Director of Authority – who calls Nemeth into the fight.
Set to appear on September 30, Santino Marella and Ava as GMs of TNA and NXT respectively will appear on-screen to reveal the men’s and women’s invasion teams.

Taking to social media to post about the continued invasion angle, Kazarian made his intentions clear.
The industry veteran is ready to go into battle for his team even after coming off a brutal fight against Maclin.
Writing that he was happy to represent Team TNA, the brand new TNA International Champion is likely to be on hand for the September 30 episode of WWE NXT as well.
