With John Cena set for his final appearance on WWE Raw on November 17 at Madison Square Garden, his night will certainly be special.
While no specific match has been announced in advance for Cena, the new Intercontinental Champion could certainly have several big names looking to fight in New York City.
Here are five final opponents on WWE Raw for John Cena.
5. CM Punk
While they previously tangled in Cena’s farewell tour, the bout at Night of Champions back in June was definitely still under the auspices of Cena being a heel.
With one final opportunity for the pair to have a one-on-one showdown, it could be a fun throwback to see the duo mix it up in Madison Square Garden one last time.
While there wouldn’t necessarily be a huge emotional rationale behind the match, it could be that in order to get Cena to agree to be on his WarGames team, CM Punk has to wrestle him in singles action.
Whatever the set up — WWE fans would certainly love to see the pair have a singles match again before Cena’s final farewell.

4. The Miz
One of the most nostalgic final opponents on WWE Raw for John Cena might be The Miz.
Despite a Last Time Is Now tournament first round defeat to Jey Uso on WWE SmackDown — it doesn’t mean that The Miz will forget about Cena.
Even with the loss, The Miz could still come back around on Monday in New York City and look to take matters into his own hands to face Cena one last time.
Potentially being a great surprise to approach Cena on his last WWE Raw appearance, The Miz could be the perfect nostalgic opponent for Cena to face in Madison Square Garden.

3. Dominik Mysterio
With John Cena facing Dominik Mysterio on the November 10 edition of WWE Raw, Cena gave Dirty Dom a fair warning.
Noting that he was invincible in his final appearance in his hometown, Cena did give Mysterio the chance to escape before any bout became official.
However, full of bravado Dirty Dom felt confident to take on Cena and ultimately lost his WWE Intercontinental Championship.
It would be incredible to see a rematch on the November 17 edition of WWE Raw, potentially leaving room for Rey Mysterio to interfere and renew his rivalry with the younger Mysterio.

2. R-Truth
Another potential nostalgic favorite to tangle with John Cena at his last appearance on WWE Raw is R-Truth.
R-Truth ended up playing a role in the John Cena farewell story —albeit as a late addition to the plans after a fan movement broke out at the news that WWE was not renewing the veteran’s contract — it would be a heartwarming moment to see the duo face off.
Able to answer an open challenge from his ‘childhood hero’ John Cena one last time, the pair would likely end up having a match that demonstrated they each still have some gas in the tank.
In the end, Truth certainly wouldn’t need to capture a victory over Cena as the retiring star could add at least one more victory ahead of his final two matches.

1. Randy Orton
Another fellow legend that could come back around to have one more singles match against John Cena is Randy Orton.
While the two already tangled back at Backlash in St. Louis, the finish was so murky in run-ins, referee spots and outright cheating from Cena that it would be nice to see just an actual banger between the pair of veterans.
With each star certainly still able to prove their in-ring skills, it could be a fun nostalgic moment to see a pair of old foes fight again.
Also potentially sewing seeds for a future heel turn from Randy Orton, it could be fun to see the return of the heel Viper at Madison Square Garden — if only for one night.
