There are various former champions from years past who could potentially re-sign with TNA Wrestling in the weeks and months to come as they premiere on a new network.

Here are six former TNA Wrestling champions to potentially re-sign with the company.

6. Ortiz

Back in 2019, Santana and Ortiz were considered one of the best tag teams in the world and were signed by All Elite Wrestling.

While Mike Santana left AEW in 2023 and would go on to sign with TNA, Ortiz stayed and has not been featured on the company’s programming in almost two years.

The former TNA World Tag Team Champion might have to consider his other options considering he has not competed in an AEW ring since January 2024.

With all the success that current TNA World Champion Santana, Ortiz might see the chance to re-sign with his former home and try to match the accomplishments of his former tag team partner.

5. Amazing Red

In the leadup to Mike Santana’s shot at the TNA World Title at Bound For Glory 2025, various individuals from his and TNA’s past showed up to motivate him on his chase for gold.

Amazing Red was a former trainer and mentor for Santana who gave him a pep talk when he really needed it.

Red still competes inside the squared circle, most notably for his House of Glory Wrestling promotion where he also trains students at the promotion’s gym.

With the former three-time X-Division Champion still active, it would make sense for him to re-sign and give a bit of nostalgia to TNA Wrestling with their impending move to AMC.

TJP is someone who has had multiple stints with TNA Wrestling throughout his decades long career.

Most recently working with the promotion in 2021, the former X-Division Champion became one of the highlights, bringing his hybrid style to the promotion and being regularly featured on IMPACT.

Following this run, TJP would become an active member of the NJPW roster as part of the United Empire stable. However, a falling out with members of the faction and New Japan Pro Wrestling themselves has led to his reported exit from the company.

Now mostly working in Mexico for CMLL, TJP might want to make his name known in the United States with TNA Wrestling’s move to AMC giving him such an opportunity to revitalize his career.
