With Finn Balor targeting his former Judgment Day stablemates for a match at WWE WrestleMania 42, his eventual match could end up being a tag team affair.
Balor is of course currently outnumbered however, so if a tag team match is to happen he will be in need of a helping hand from another member of the WWE roster.
Here are five potential tag team partners to join forces with Finn Balor at WrestleMania 42.
5. Roxanne Perez
With Roxanne Perez reportedly set for a WWE Raw return, it remains to be seen what will happen when she returns to The Judgment Day clubhouse.
Should Perez disagree with the rest of the group’s decision to turn their back on Finn, it would make sense that she eventually joins up with the Irish star.
Perez was first recruited into The Judgment Day by Balor, so their may be a greater connection there between the two than he has with the other members.
Either way, Roxanne Perez could be the perfect mixed tag team partner for Finn Balor at WrestleMania 42, capping off The Judgment Day storyline nicely.
4. Dragon Lee
While it would seem that Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan could make the perfect mixed tag team foes for Finn Balor and a partner of his choosing — perhaps it won’t be a mixed tag match at all.
With JD McDonagh able to link up with “Dirty Dom” to take on Balor in a traditional tag team bout, Balor could be hunting around the men’s roster for a new tag team partner.
Certainly with no love lost between Dragon Lee and Dominik Mysterio, linking Finn Balor and Dragon Lee together to take on the Judgment Day pair could be the perfect match.
Both able to bring fast moving action, Dragon Lee could certainly capture a big WrestleMania 42 moment being aligned with Finn Balor.
3. Rhea Ripley
One potential mixed tag team partner that could join forces with Finn Balor could Rhea Ripley.
With “The Eradicator” having plenty of experience doing battle with both Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio in the past, it could be that fellow former Judgment Day member Ripley is the perfect ally for Balor.
While she will be preoccupied with her match with Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship on one of the nights of WrestleMania 42, Ripley could perhaps still partner with Balor to take on the dastardly duo from The Judgment Day on the other night.
Probably best kept a surprise for the night of the bout, it would be a fun moment to see Finn and Rhea reunite at WrestleMania 42.
2. IYO SKY
While Rhea Ripley is occupied during WrestleMania 42 weekend already, perhaps she could recommend a friend to Finn.
Since Ripley’s former tag team champ IYO SKY doesn’t yet have a bout set for WrestleMania 42, she could prove to be the perfect ally for Finn.
Able to take on Liv Morgan and presumably impact her bout against Stephanie Vaquer should the mixed tag happen before Morgan’s title match — there could be longstanding implications.
Kicking off a rivalry between IYO SKY and Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42 could certainly pay off in the near future with a big title shot for IYO.
1. LA Knight
One WWE Raw star that could still be looking for a match on the WrestleMania 42 card might be LA Knight.
Potentially joining forces with a babyface Balor in order to take on Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh, there could be some intriguing stakes teased in the match.
With both Balor and Knight seemingly poised to be babyfaces chasing the same goals in the near future, their partnership could be an interesting one to see play out.
Knight is need of a spot on the WrestleMania 42 card, and Balor could certainly provide him that if he takes on The Judgment Day alongside him.
