AEW Worlds End 2025 will be the final pay-per-view of the year for the company and is shaping up to be another stacked card.

With a four-way for the AEW World Title and the conclusion of the Continental Classic, this event looks like it could be one of those high stakes shows that will alter the landscape of the promotion.

Considering so much of the lineup is already announced, there is still time for the company to add even more to this pay-per-view to make it one of the best of the year.

Here are seven matches to be potentially added to AEW Worlds End 2025.

AEW World Tag Team Championship Two Out Of Three Falls Match: FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) (c) vs. Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson & Austin Gunn)

AEW teams FTR and the Bang Bang Gang

On the December 17 Holiday Bash edition of AEW Dynamite and Collision, FTR defeated Bang Bang Gang to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

During the course of this bout, Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn scored a visual pinfall three-count that led to some believing they had won the titles.

Following the way everything went down, it seems like there is enough cause for a rematch between the two duos down the line.

FTR defending the gold against Bang Bang Gang in a two-out-of-three falls match would be a wonderful addition to the AEW Worlds End card and put an end to this rivalry once and for all.

AEW TNT Championship: Mark Briscoe (c) vs. Josh Alexander

AEW stars Mark Briscoe and Josh Alexander

Back at AEW Full Gear 2025, Mark Briscoe defeated Kyle Fletcher in a No DQ Match to win the TNT Championship.

This win also helped Briscoe avoid having to leave the Conglomeration and being forced to join the Don Callis Family.

Briscoe and The Conglomeration have been a thorn in the side of the Callis Family throughout this year. Following this loss, Callis could send another one of his charges to bring the TNT Title back to the faction.

Josh Alexander feels like the best option to represent the faction against Briscoe and try to capture his first title in AEW at the upcoming pay-per-view from Chicago.

Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong & JetSpeed (Speedball Mike Bailey & Kevin Knight) vs. The Death Riders (PAC, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta & Daniel Garcia) in a Continental Classic Showcase Match

AEW star Orange Cassidy

Speaking of the Conglomeration, Orange Cassidy has been busy in the Blue League of the Continental Classic, but there are a few other stars who might not be able to make it to the final four of the tournament.

Looking at the current field in the C2, there could be the rest of the participants being put into a massive eight-man tag team match at AEW Worlds End.

Cassidy teaming with his allies in Roderick Strong and JetSpeed to face his rivals in the Death Riders would make for an intriguing battle at Worlds End.

With both PAC and Claudio Castagnoli in the tournament, they could join Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia to face the C2 competitors to showcase those involved in one huge match.

AEW World Trios Championships: The Opps (HOOK, Powerhouse Hobbs & Katsuyori Shibata) (c) vs. The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks)

The Opps turned heel back at AEW WrestleDream and have been running roughshod over anyone in front of them since then.

Meanwhile, The Elite reunited at AEW Full Gear and recently came together to win $1 million from the Don Callis Family in a Winner Takes All Match at AEW Dynamite: Holiday Bash.

Coming off the heels of this victory, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks could look to become a record-breaking three-time AEW World Trios Champions.

The Elite facing off with The Opps would be a compelling contest that could elevate the AEW World Trios Championships with another marquee match at Worlds End.

AEW Continental Classic Semifinals: Kazuchika Okada vs. Jon Moxley

AEW stars Kazuchika Okada and Jon Moxley

AEW Worlds End is one of the more anticipated pay-per-views of the year mostly down to it being the event that culminates the Continental Classic.

Looking at the current standings and storylines in the tournament, it feels like Kazuchika Okada and Jon Moxley are two of the biggest stars involved and have been heavily featured throughout the past few weeks.

Considering Moxley’s current downfall, it would make a ton of sense to have the four-time AEW World Champion to make it to the final four of the C2.

Meanwhile, Okada put the AEW Continental Champion on the line in the Continental Classic and should be part of the tournament down the stretch. Okada vs. Moxley could become one of the most memorable matches of 2025 between two top AEW stars.

AEW Continental Classic Semifinals: Konosuke Takeshita vs. Kyle Fletcher

The Don Callis Family have been the backbone of this entire Continental Classic tournament since before it started.

In the Gold League, Kyle Fletcher has been a standout with several remarkable matches against the likes of Speedball Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight and PAC.

Meanwhile, Konosuke Takeshita stands atop of the Blue League and remains without a loss so far in this year’s C2.

Having the two Don Callis Family members doing battle in the semifinals would make for a tantalizing contest between Takeshita and Fletcher that could really alter the dynamic of their ProtoShita partnership.

AEW Continental Classic Finals

AEW Continental Classic

The biggest match on the AEW Worlds End 2025 could legitimately be the Continental Classic Finals. Deciding who will be the AEW Continental Champion coming out of the PPV, there could be anyone involved in this finals of the tournament.

Many fans heading into the C2 believed Takeshita vs. Okada could be the finals based on their longstanding animosity within the Don Callis Family, but AEW might want to hold off on this high profile showdown.

Kyle Fletcher making it to the finals will completely shift things within the Callis Family, while Jon Moxley could redeem himself by winning the tournament.

Regardless of who is involved, there is no denying that all eyes will be on the Continental Classic Finals come AEW Worlds End 2025.
