WWE Survivor Series 2026: Names we could see replace Stephanie Vaquer in this year’s War Games match following illness

The announced match between Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer for this week’s episode of WWE Raw ended up being cancelled after Stephanie was unable to compete.

It was later reported that Stephanie’s absence was due to an illness, that isn’t expected to keep her out of action for an extended period of time, but will keep her out for several weeks.

Stephanie was one of the likely participants in this year’s War Games match, which has been building up on WWE television over the past few weeks, but that will seemingly no longer be the case.

Here are some WWE stars we could see replace Stephanie in War Games.

Giulia

Given recent events, the Women’s War Games match being built up was likely to see Chelsea Green, Tiffany Stratton, IYO SKY, Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer face the Judgment Day, Nikki Bella and Blake Monroe.

Blake is coming off a victory over Giulia on last week’s SmackDown, with the two of them having had issues for the past few months, though Blake had teased potentially going after Chelsea Green’s WWE Women’s Championship soon.

If Blake does end up being the final participant on the heel side, then Giulia would make for the perfect counter on the babyface side.

Asuka

One name we haven’t seen on WWE television in recent months is Asuka, who last wrestled at WWE Backlash in Tampa in a loss to IYO SKY.

Asuka has recently clarified that she had not retired and was still with WWE, so we will likely see her back on television eventually.

Asuka coming to the aid of IYO in her ongoing fight would be a great moment given how the two ended things at Backlash.

Paige

With Nikki Bella set to challenge Chelsea Green for the WWE Championship on SmackDown, we could see an interference from Paige.

Nikki and Paige have been feuding since SummerSlam, with Paige even scoring the pin over Nikki in their most recent match against each other.

If Stephanie can no longer feature in the match, Paige would be the most obvious replacement.

Sol Ruca

This year, WWE has been looking to the future a lot more than in years past.

WWE may want to feature new names in the War Games match this year, and there would be no better choice than Sol Ruca, who herself still has issues with the Judgment Day.

IYO SKY will be on hand to do her usual trash can dive, but there are plenty of other exciting things Sol could do in the Cage.
