Next TBS Champion after Persephone: Four AEW stars to win the title in the near future

At AEW All In London 2026, Persephone defeated Maya World to win the TBS Championship.

Since then, Persephone has been a fighting champion, defending both the TBS and CMLL Women’s World Championships all over the world.

Coming off the heels of her latest defense at WrestleDream, it should be interesting who could possibly be the next TBS Champion after Perse.

Here are four AEW stars who could potentially become the next TBS Champion after Persephone.

Dani Luna

At AEW All Out 2026, Persephone held a TBS Championship Open Challenge that was answered by the debuting Dani Luna.

After a hard fought battle, Perse was able to retain the TBS Title against Luna in her debut.

Luna once again came up short in her bid to become the champion in a four-way match at AEW WrestleDream 2026.

Continuing her pursuit of the gold, Luna could make for the perfect challenger to dethrone Persephone for the TBS Championship down the line.

Marina Shafir

Since the passing of PAC, The Death Riders have been dealing with the loss of their friend and stablemate.

Taking inspiration from “The Bastard,” Marina Shafir has taken on more of a leadership role and has been motivating Jon Moxley at ringside as well as backstage.

“The Problem” could look to bring some stability to the faction by winning her first title.

Shafir dethroning Persephone for the TBS Championship could prove to be a compelling story moving forward.

Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.

Since her return at AEW All In London 2026, Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. has been by the side of Persephone.

This combination has paid dividends for Perse who has held onto her title thanks to Baker on several occasions.

However, the former AEW Women’s World Champion could look to hold some gold of her own sooner rather than later.

Baker beating her protégé for the TBS Title would be interesting and position these two in a different role moving forward.

Queen Aminata

At AEW WrestleDream 2026, Persephone defeated Hyan, Dani Luna and Queen Aminata to retain the TBS Championship.

Aminata has been on the hunt for championship gold recently, whether it be the TBS or AEW Women’s World Championship.

With her presence and ability, Aminata feels like someone who will one day become a singles champion in All Elite Wrestling.

In what should be a hard hitting affair, Aminata has what it takes to capture the TBS Title from Persephone somewhere down the road.
