AEW Stars To Join New Jon Moxley Babyface Faction

After capturing victory in the AEW Continental Classic tournament, Jon Moxley became the newest AEW Continental Champion at Worlds End 2025.

Potentially looking for a fresh start as a babyface in the coming year, there could be a brand new version of Jon Moxley coming to fruition in 2026.

Here are six AEW stars to join a new Jon Moxley babyface faction.

6. Eddie Kingston & Ortiz

Since the return of Eddie Kingston, “The Mad King” has made his presence felt in a big way.

Recently reuniting with Ortiz, Eddie Kingston could end up linking back up with another former AEW friend turned foe in Jon Moxley.

If Moxley moves on from his current Death Riders faction and rather amasses a new group of babyfaces, he would wise to call in reinforcements from the pair.

With the duo able to join forces to topple the on-going reign of terror of the Death Riders, Kingston & Ortiz could prove perfect for Moxley.

5. Brody King

One star that had a remarkable run as a babyface in AEW in 2025 was Brody King.

After the departure of Malakai Black to WWE and Buddy Matthews’ injury could have marooned King without a storyline, instead he ended up capturing the AEW Tag Team Championship.

Creating a new and exciting partnership with Bandido, the duo went on to gain fan support before dropping the titles to FTR.

Potentially looking for his next step, King could potentially. find himself recruited to a babyface stable led by Moxley.

One AEW star who has been out of action for most of 2025 is Buddy Matthews.

Potentially returning from injury sometime in the new year, it could be that Matthews forms a brand new alliance when he does make his way back to AEW.

Linking up with Jon Moxley in order to create a new squad to combat the Death Riders, the duo could end up being a frightening force.

Also able to link up with Brody King (and possibly even Bandido too), the new group could end up making for a major threat to the possibly PAC or Claudio Castagnoli led Death Riders.

3. Swerve Strickland

A potentially interesting new alliance if Jon Moxley was to take a babyface turn in the near future could be Swerve Strickland.

With the pair no stranger to taking a ‘by any means necessary’ attitude to competition in AEW, there could be both mutual understanding and respect between the pair.

Possibly looking to move on from his Death Riders faction and work towards a more righteous way of living in AEW, linking up with Strickland could be the perfect move.

With Strickland having served as a blueprint for fan engagement driving a dastardly heel into being squarely a fan favorite babyface, Moxley could follow suit.

2. Adam Copeland

Since he has been absent from AEW for a spell, there is a question-mark regarding what the future might hold for Adam Copeland.

With Adam Copeland having stepped away from AEW in storyline, his return could waiting for the perfect new alliance.

Potentially paving the way for both Copeland and Christian Cage to form a working alliance with Jon Moxley, the trio could look to take vengeance on FTR in addition to the remnants of the dastardly Death Riders.

Bringing together some of AEW’s most legendary figures for a feud would be a great deal of fun, even if it is a little bit random of a configuration.

1. Kris Statlander

AEW star Kris Statlander

While Kris Statlander was able to retain her AEW Women’s World Championship at Worlds End 2025, it wasn’t without a brave effort from her opponent Jamie Hayter.

Potentially looking for a guarantee in future big bouts coming up for the title, perhaps Statlander could end up find herself being recruited again by Mox but this time not to the dark side.

While Statlander ultimately rebuffed any attempts to recruit her to join the Death Riders, perhaps things would be different if Moxley was heading up a babyface faction.

Linking up with a new group of rogue but righteous actors seeking to take over AEW, perhaps there could be a brand new edge still left to be revealed from Statlander.
