On the WWE NXT Homecoming show, a Winner Takes All Champion vs. Champion match was set up between NXT Champion Oba Femi and TNA World Champion Trick Williams for the September 23 episode.
This led to various TNA Wrestling stars taking to social media to protest this match being made since there’s no TNA talent involved in fighting for their own World Championship, and teased invading the NXT brand.
With these teases and hints, it looks likely that TNA Wrestling talent will show up at the WWE Performance Center for the high profile Winner Takes All match.
Looking at their entire roster, here are eight TNA Wrestling stars to potentially invade WWE NXT.
8. Mike Santana

At WWE NXT Battleground 2025, TNA Wrestling star Mike Santana first appeared in the company. From there, the former AEW star started competing on the NXT brand.
Since then, there have been reports and rumors regarding Santana impressing those within WWE and there’s interest from the company in signing him when he becomes available.
While his TNA Wrestling contract is set to expire at the end of 2025, Santana still waves the flag for the company and remains one of the top stars in this potential invasion.
If TNA talent are going to appear on the September 23 edition of WWE NXT, fans should expect Santana to be front and center for the company invading the PC.

7. The Hardy Boyz (Matt & Jeff Hardy)

Back in February 2025, The Hardys made their return to WWE as part of the TNA Wrestling partnership.
Appearing as TNA World Tag Team Champions, Matt and Jeff showcased why they are still in the conversation for one of the best duos in all of wrestling today.
The legendary brothers could make another return now that WWE NXT have opened the door for a war with TNA Wrestling recently.
The Hardys coming back as part of this TNA invasion would feel like a betrayal to some WWE fans that might make it even more effective.

6. The System (Moose, Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers & JDC)

Another TNA Wrestling star who has made regular appearances on WWE NXT has been Moose.
Bringing the rest of The System, Moose’s allies Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers and JDC have all appeared on the NXT brand as well.
Turning babyface during this whole angle with WWE NXT, The System have gone from the top heel faction to popular babyfaces standing at the frontline for TNA Wrestling.
The System should be leading the charge for TNA against WWE NXT as the stalwarts for the company over the past two years.

5. Masha Slamovich

Ahead of TNA Slammiversary 2025, Masha Slamovich started to make some appearances on WWE NXT.
Slamovich has showcased herself to be one of the most skilled and versatile in-ring performers in all of wrestling today.
After losing the TNA Knockouts World Championship to Jacy Jayne at Slammiversary, it feels like Slamovich will want revenge on NXT more than anyone on the roster.
With TNA potentially showing up unannounced to WWE NXT, it makes a lot of sense for Masha to be at the front for the Knockouts division of this invasion.

4. Eric Young

No other TNA Wrestling star on the roster has the lineage, longevity and legacy of Eric Young in the promotion.
The two-time TNA World Champion has been more vocal than ever in regards to the WWE NXT stars who have come into their company.
Feeling disrespected by WWE NXT and those on the roster who are not taking the threat seriously, Young has been trying to remove the sickness from TNA.
EY joining this TNA invasion seems like a no-brainer considering his place as the elder statesman of the entire roster.

3. The Rascalz (Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz & Myron Reed)

Another pair of TNA Wrestling stars who are no strangers to the WWE NXT brand are The Rascalz.
Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz showed up on NXT to motivate their former partner and friend Wes Lee, which led to the former NXT North American Champion turning on the TNA Wrestling stars.
After engaging in a months long rivalry with Wes, The Rascalz have mostly appeared in TNA outside of a rare appearance, but that could change with the September 23 episode of NXT.
Viewed by many as one of the best tag teams, Miguel and Wentz could return to NXT alongside their OG Rascalz brethren Myron Reed for this TNA Wrestling invasion.

At TNA Slammiversary 2025, Leon Slater defeated Moose to become the youngest TNA X-Division Champion in company history.
‘The Youngest In Charge’ even got a stamp of approval and endorsement from WWE star and multi-time TNA World Champion AJ Styles.
Despite his status in the company, Slater has yet to appear on WWE NXT despite the partnership between the two brands.
Slater being part of this TNA invasion would introduce the electrifying 20 year old star to the WWE audience for the first time.

Now holding the TNA International Championship, Maclin wants to represent the company in the best way possible and has been quite vocal in regards to the disrespect from Trick Williams and the NXT roster.
